OOC: Maybe Mythra and Muzdum should head to the inn? Muzdum can chat up the locals while Mythra keeps an eye on things.

Where is Martha the cat by the way, is she still tailing the guy?

OOC: I don't think we should split and go individually. At the very least Mythra goes with Orsik and kal'Tarron or Grys and Alexia with Muzdum and kal'Tarron or Grys so everyone gets defended and 'leadered' :)

"Don't run off alone, we don't know what we're facing and we know that someone knows we were heading here. I realize we may find out more if we split, but more then two groups would be unwise."

"Our main goal is to find out where this logging camp is located. What's our best idea on how to do that without informing every single person in this town that it is our goal?" Grys asks. "Now that we are near, I'd like to spend as little time as possible in this town and interact with these people as little as possible, especially since we think we are being watched or followed."

"I agree. The local priest should know about the logging camp and priests tend to be more closed mouthed than others. Let's send Kal and Alexia in to talk with the local priest without all six of us tramping in there. If he doesn't know or won't help, there's got to be some day laborers around here that would. A few drinks, a few coins, and we should be able to get out of here quickly."

Antithetist, can we cut to the chase here? A little roleplaying by Kal and Alexia, maybe a few skill rolls without the overhead baggage of a round by round group skill challenge. I know I want to get to the logging camp without taking up two real weeks of a group skill challenge. If the priest knows where the logging camp is and is willing to tell us, we don't even need any skill rolls here.

OOC: I'm assuming Martha got off with the party rather than staying on the Lightning Rail, but correct me if I'm wrong - she's your familiar, it's up to you what she did.

Also, N.B. - there's no particular reason to think you're looking for a logging camp, although there certainly are some logging camps around here. here is the letter that Farrow received, for reference - that's all the information you're working with at the moment.

If it was going to be that easy, I wouldn't be making you roll. ;) Since you don't even know what you're looking for exactly, it's not going to be as simple as asking a friendly priest for directions.

But am I detecting a general feeling of 'less investigation, more hack and slash'? I can accomodate that, if people are unanimous. Don't want to try to force you guys into my play style.

OOC: She should probably come off the train. Can she give a report to Mythra please? :)

OOC: I like both roleplaying and combat. So whatever suits your adventure more.
