Yes the warforged at I-12 has the Gem.
Garrot cannot see him from where he stands now, and would have to move outside to see him.
Lord Jarot-turned Gershom teleported outside onto the bridge (Hmm that will be some fun RP trying to figure out how that happened).
If Lo-kag and Gurdan can drop the forged standing in the doorway then Grryth will double run outside and then use an AP to charge the forged in I-12.

Gurdan makes a frenzied run towards Dash and smashes his hammer into the side of the warforged's head. It slumps to the ground unmoving.

[sblock=Passive Healing 15] From the subtle movements of fluid in the main "artery" of the 'forged's neck, you can tell that the warforged is simply knocked out and not dead. You can understand why one might think otherwise with the lack of breathing movement. [/sblock]

Seeing the salesman getting away is too much for Gershom, and his forceful rage allows him to rip his way into the physical world. Lord Jarot's physical features expand, twist and warp; hair sprouts from every part of his body, his skin darkens, his face widens and his teeth grow sharp. Charging his way to the front door to see where his enemy is running off to, Gershom calls upon the ancient spirits of the feywild. Performing their services in their otherworldly bargain with the changeling, several small, dark, fairy-like creatures appear from nowhere and pull Gershom into the feywild. An audible *pop* can be heard as Gershom disappears, reality warping around the area that Gershom stood at only a moment before. Slowly the air flexes back into it's original state.

The mysterious feywild looks twisted and foreign; a dark mirror of the material world. Gershom finds himself kneeling, unable to move before a dark and terrible fey queen, sitting upon an obsidian throne; a stark contrasting to her frosty white skin. Gershom stares into her eyes for what seems like an hour before she silently nods in acknowledgment of their bargain. Pointing her silver scepter at him, she chants in a language unknown to the material world and the changeling can feel an infinitesimally small shard of his soul slip out from his body and join the countless other motes that swirl inside of the clear crystal head of the queens' scepter.

A pressure builds inside of Gershom until he feel like he would explode. He feel himself being pulled and pushed in a myriad number of directions, some of which are in non-euclidean, and very alien directions; almost like being in a hundred different places at once while remaining exactly where he is. Gershom walks forward, but moves in sporadic diagonals; stops in place but moves upwards; takes a step backwards but ends up in all places at once, struggling to maintain awareness of his surroundings as his senses are overloaded by odd stimuli. Suddenly his body focuses on one of these locations and he feels himself forcefully and painfully pop into existence in the material world, only seconds after he was pulled into the feywild.

Quickly shaking off the dizziness that accompanies such odd teleportation, Gershom leans forward on the stone bridge in an aggressive stance, snarling at the salesman.

"COME LITTLE MACHINE AND SEE IF YOU CAN PASS!"

[sblock=OOC] Horned Turtle: Unfortunately, intimidating like you want to do is a Standard Action. Also, Teleportation requires line-of-sight, so I took the liberty of using your un-used move action to have you run to the door, giving you line of sight to your destination square. Also, you missed all of your allies with your reality warping otherwind stride power so no-one takes any damage from that (the one time rolling low is good, lol).

Everyone but Gurdan/QuestionMark: Dash is on the ground unmoving after Gurdan charges, so please revise your actions so that I can get a concrete idea of what you want/are going to do. THANKS! You guys are doing awesome! You guys keep throwing curveballs at me and it's keeping me on my toes. Thanks for making this game so much fun!!

Alexia has also gone for the round, pulling the warforged back intot he door.
That leaves Lo-kag and Grryth who have not gone yet.
Grryth will wait till Lo-kag moves out the door and then perform the following action...(that's a hint for Lo-Kag to move outside so he can see what Grryth is going to do..)
[/sblock]

Grryth gazes at the fallen forge before him for only a moment before the action over by the fireplace grabs his attention. As the salesman grabs the gem and runs out Grryth begins to sprint after him. A moment before he would have crashed into the other warforged, Gurdan charges forward and clears the way for Grryth. Grryth rushes out the door and spots the Salesman. A loud growl erupts as Grryth leaps forward, axe leading the way towards the salesman, and takes a swing at him.

[sblock=Mechanics]
Move Action = Run from C4 -D12.
Standard Action = Run from D12 - I15
Action Point = Standard Action = Charge from I15 to I13 and attack Salesman (non-leathal damage) 1d20+11-5 vs AC. 1d6+7 damage (additional +7 from using action point IF Lo-kag can see Grryth). Mark Salesman either way
[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC] That's wickedly tactical Grryth, I love it! I just need Lo-Kag's action before I enact both of your actions [/sblock]

[sblock=dimsdale]
Now who told you that ;), no but you are correct, each square of a push must move the target further away from you.

lol Renau1g...a little bird landed on my shoulder and told me. See, I may make mistakes, but I learn from them.

Lo-kag sees his opprotunity to attack the thief to his south vanish as Gurdan knocks him out. Without a moment of thought, Lo-Kag charges forward "I think I can reach him...Yesssss!" Seeing that his enemy is bloodied, he swings with such force as to put end end to the salesman's thievery.

[sblock=ooc]
movement: move to h13
minor: none
attack: bloody ending: 1d20+11vsAC = 16,
damage: 2d8+6 = 15 (should be 2d8+8, but probably didn't hit anyway) plus anyone who attacks the salesman gets +2 to attack roll until the end of my next turn (non lethal damage please)

Synopsis of Round 4

After being stabbed by Lo-Kag's weakening strike, the Salesman drops his dagger, his fingers to weak to manage a solid grip. Scared and frustrated, the warforged uses the closest weapon at his disposal. Swinging the burning pot out from the fireplace, the salesman kicks out at the pot, splashing hot soup in Lo-Kags direction and burning his scaly flesh. The gem slides out from the pot and as the realization of the situation hits him, the salesman cackles with glee.

"Hahahahaha! You FOOLS! You thought you could keep the gem from ME!!! Dash! Keep our friends company. I have bigger fish to fry!"

Picking up the gem, the salesman makes a mad dash for the door, not even caring when Lo-Kag rakes his sword across his back.

While the salesman runs away, Dash does what he does best and runs out the door, taking a couple of hits from Gurdan and Lord Jarot on the way out.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me," Alexia groans as she sprints across the room. Seeing Lo-Kag, she shouts out "Your ancestors were dragons, were they not? Shouldn't you be soaring on wings of fire?" Strangely, Lo-Kag feels a primordial hunger awaken within him that nearly drags him out the door. Alexia herself stops at the door to see what she can see.

Seeing Dash just outside the door, Alexia shouts taunting words laced with arcane magic. The warforged's head snaps back as if he had taken an invisible club to the face and a rage comes over him. Walking back into the door, he yells "WHAT!? YOU THINK YOU CAN STOP US!?"... and then he realizes that he's back inside the house, quickly being surrounded by foes that are not too happy with his master. If he could cry... he would.

Gurdan races past Lord Jarot, avoiding the unstable footing of the splintered table, chasing after the Salesman. Unfortunately for Gurdan, Alexia's magical ploy works a little too well, and the warforged blocks Gurdan's path through the door.

"Cowardly hunks of junk, get back here!" Gurdan does his best to hustle, hauling his considerable weight towards the door, although clearly moving quickly is not his forte.

"You, where do you think you're going?!?"

Gurdan makes a frenzied run towards Dash and smashes his hammer into the side of the warforged's head. It slumps to the ground unmoving.

Garrick quickly runs after the escaping warforged, stepping on Gurdan's felled foe on his way out.

Fortunate for the salesman, Lo-Kag miss-steps at the last second and his forceful blow only obliterates the air in front of him.

Grryth gazes at the fallen forge before him for only a moment before the action over by the fireplace grabs his attention. As the salesman grabs the gem and runs out, Grryth begins to sprint after him. A moment before he would have crashed into the other warforged, Gurdan charges forward and clears the way for Grryth. Grryth rushes out the door and spots the Salesman. A loud growl erupts as Grryth leaps forward, axe leading the way towards the salesman. His axe connects solidly with the salesman and the sound of metal scraping through metal runs chills down everyone's spines.

Seeing his foe flee irks Lord Jarot even more, "I won't ALLOW You to get away!"

Seeing the salesman getting away is too much for Gershom, and his forceful rage allows him to rip his way into the physical world. Lord Jarot's physical features expand, twist and warp; hair sprouts from every part of his body, his skin darkens, his face widens and his teeth grow sharp. [sblock=OOC]

Only the salesman left (and not much left of him). I'm not even going to bother putting in statuses and HP, cause I think this is going to be all over on salesmans' turn. I seriously doubt he's going to survive trying to get by both Grryth and Gershom... Either way, I'mma keep this train'a'rollin'!

Lo-Kag misses with his attack with a total of 18 vs AC, however, because Salesman RAN during his turn, he grants combat advantage, which causes Grryth's attack to hit EXACTLY the right AC 1d20 + 11 - 5 + 2=20, 1d6 + 14=19. [/sblock]

I don't know whose turn it is, but I'll go, just to give others next to me an advantage in hitting the salesman.
[/sblock]

What went wrong with my attack?, Lo-Kag thinks to himself..."No time to ponder that now dragonborn", he says out loud this time. Looking at the battered salesman Lo-Kag moves around him to cut him off. He then yells back to Grryth, pumping his sword into the air "Grryth, you are one of many who have proven to me your strength and valor in battle. You have earned the right to bring him down. Show me what you can do my friend!"

Round 5

Gershom reaches back and hurls what looks like a fist sized rock of magical energy at the salesman.

Standard action: Attack with Eldritch Blast against the salesman.
Attack roll: 1d20+8=25
Damage: 1d10+1d6+6=21

Occ:Hurah and he finally hits! Oh it is LETHAL damage, Gershom is angry.

The salesman feels the bite of an axe in his back and this spurs him on even more, leaving him wide open for everyone to attack. As he moves to run, he steels himself against further attacks and a few of his wounds can be seen to slightly mend. Grryth and Lo-Kag gladly take this opportunity to slide their blades into the warforged's back. No matter how sly the warforged, a sword in the back (not to mention two...) will certainly cramp your style! Managing to barely pull himself away he sprints down the bridge trying to get past the dagger wielding minotaur. Roaring with rage, Gershom knees the passing warforged in the gut and then slams the dagger into the base of the salesman's skull, causing it to twitch and shudder as synaptic pathways are interrupted. The salesman slumps to the floor of the rocky bridge, fluids pouring out of the back of it's neck and back.

Having heard that the warforged and taken the gem and seeing the battle moving outside, Gurdis crept to the front door and then cheered as she saw the Minotaur put an end to the threat, thinking to herself... "Wait'a m'nit now... I d'nae hire a'beastie...".

Shrugging, she begins to walk over to the bridge to personally retrieve her gem when her jaw drops and she screams "NOOOO! GIT ME GEM!"

It's then that you notice something freeing itself from the salesman's chest. You would swear that it was a Final Messenger except that it has several tentacle-like limbs that propel it across the dead salesman's chest. The flat face of the tentacle messenger opens a single large glass eye. It stretches a tentacle and grabs the gem, jumps into the air and hovers for a moment before you can see a flash of light, the eye pointed towards all of you. It then races past Gershom, flying through the air in an attempt to escape you!

[sblock=INTERCEPTION!] Congratulations! You have completed the first challenge in the Second Day of Mourning! Now we move on to challenge 2: INTERCEPTION!

This is a skill challenge! Do what you can and be creative! I give bonuses for good descriptions of actions that fit with the skill you use. Sometimes a good skill check will mean you get a success, other times it will mean you give someone else a bonus. I will determine this based on the skill you use and how the scene plays out! Do your best and GO GIT THAT GEM!

BTW... I just thought you guys should see the awesome Atk of Ops you guys made against the salesman to end it all! The first is Grryth, the Second is Lo-Kag, and the third is Gershom.

1d20 + 10=24, 1d6 + 7=10, 1d20 + 11=28, 1d8+6=10, 1d20+4=21, 1d4-1=1
