"That's a Very long story M'am sufice it to say that Lord Jarot had some things to take care of and asked me to take over for him, if you'll have me," says Kinion.

Lo-Kag falls asleep quickly. After awhile, he shifts to the right with his mouth open and his head sideways on the pillow. This position causes him to drool. Acidic drool spills slowly from his mouth onto the cot, and burns it's way though the covers and cloth padding, onto the now exposed wooden supports. After a few hours, the acid eats through enough of the wooden leg of the cot causing it to give way, which in turn causes the cot to collapse. By shear luck, Lo-Kag's body falls in such a way that his head lands on top of the soft pillow he was originally sleeping on. He then jolts up right, looking left, then right, as if he was being attacked. After a few minutes he sees what happened and then shakes his head, mumbling a few words in the draconic language. He then moves to where the others are located, dazed a bit, but refreshed. "Has everyone rested, and if so, shall we begin making preparations for our quest to find these pesky, troublesome thieves?"

Alexia shakes her head at the Dragonborn in wonderment and softly says, "I am amazed by your ability to destroy everything you touch. One would think that by now you would have learned to control yourself."

She sighs. "We should go question the survivor, as he seems to be the only lead we have at the moment. What should we do with your gem, madam? After all of this, I'd hate for it to be stolen while we're out investigating."

[sblock=ooc]I don't think we have time for an extended rest. Just how badly hurt are people, assuming a short rest with Song of Rest?[/sblock]

Grryth tosses and turns a bit as the others continue to talk and discuss plans.
Finally giving up on the idea of a nice long sleep Grryth gets up and joins the others at the table.

"Miss Gurdis, I'll help ya out as well". Grryth looks over at the others and continues, "I'm still a bit sore from the fight in the tower so I could use a bit more time fer restin befor we move on."

So I guess we are only taking a short rest then? Is Alexia going to use her song of rest? I'll assume so and update my stat block accordingly.

"I be thinkin' t'take me gem back home t'it's rightfull place in me clan's home in th'Mror Holds. No way a thief'd git it there, though it be a shame t'nae have me gem close t'me."

[sblock=ooc] You guys have time to do whatever the team needs/wants to do. It is currently about noon, so if you want to take a few short rests to get healed up and get your healing powers back, go ahead. Just keep track of how many surges you've used. If you guys WANT to take an extended rest and start the investigation "tomorrow", feel free. [/sblock]

She sighs. "We should go question the survivor, as he seems to be the only lead we have at the moment. "

Lo-Kag gives Alexia a toothy grin in response to her verbal jab, then gets back to business at hand, talking in a serious tone: "I've had much experience in getting information from prisoners during the last war. I'm ... very effective at it to say the least. If you need someone to take a hard line approach to questioning, I'd be happy to volunteer my services. Although, you Alexia can be very persuasive, as I have witnessed from the short time that I've known you when interacting with others not in our group. Either way, I think we can get the information we need."

[sblock=ooc]: I vote for an extended rest if possible as I'm dangerously low with my healing surges.

"Aye, your plan is a wise one, Lady Gurdis, although it angers me that your delicate hand has been forced." Gurdan's face tightens, his eyes reflecting darkness as he imagines some dark end for the thieves plaguing Gurdis.
