OoC: Are we actually resting, and healing damage?

OoC:Yes, rest, the Wizard used his Healing Salves on you to heal of your damage.
In fact, he gives you each one dose of Healing Salve: Cures 1D8, topical application.
The Monestary adventure actually starts the next morning from when you folks are, at least that's when they decided to enter the place, as they were banged up as well from their encounter with feral Roadwardens. Man, I love the feral template...:D

ooc/ Sorry again for being late again, University really is more hectic than I expected :D - NB don't underestimate the work a tutor at Oxford can give you :p/ooc

Felix' eyes light up at the appearance of the items and he lift and runs his hands over each turning them quickly, swishing cloaks, feeling bag cloth before finally coming to rest on the book of spells, the flips through the pages then looks up whistfully at the other items.
"Alas at times practicality must win out over certain much desired extravegences,"
at this he looks pointedly as the bag of tricks,
"however I believe we have most need of the improved arsenal offered by the contents of this book."

He lifts the book and semi-hugs it before slipping it into his robes.

ooc/ My character also would like to create a smithy and craft shop (preferably *with* Thurgan :)) so i'd be interested in continuing a relationship with Delamon if possible/ooc

Locking one of the new bolts into his crossbow, Thale puts his gear back. "Thank you again for the gifts Delmon. Mabey these new bolts will let me actualy hurt something with this thrice cursed bolt thrower now."

OoC:Feel free to discuss further, but otherwise.

IC: With a mnimum of effort (as the Wizard's Arcane Servants do most of the work), you bed down for the night. Delmon went down and resecured the door, with Magic as well as a stout bar (that Thurgan helped with).

The night passes calmly, with all of you awakening at dawn to the sound of things being moved about the place, your eyes taking in pans of eggs and rashers of bacon floating about, as well as a pot of strong koffee,a luxurious import from Gashina from the Southlands.

Delmon looks much better, and he smiles warmly and tells you all that he has just the thing t get you to the Monestary quick as a sparrow.

After you have dined, Delmon has you all walk outside where he produces a Wand saved for special emergencies, he informs you.
Using the thin ivory Wand, Delmon summons up 5 Phantom Steeds, horses the color of smoky quarts with whispy manes and tails, as well as indistinct hooves that seem to touch the ground only minimally.
'These Steeds can traverse mud and rain, swamp and grass without slowing at a speed that no horse can match. You will be able to ride right across the marshes south and east of here, which the Road goes straight around.. You should be at the monestary in 3 hours or so. Even Thurgan over there, looking pale at the thought will be able to stay on...'

<Speed:160'/round, ignoring mud, rain, soggy terrain, of which there is an abundance>

Velbrik mounts the horse and nods to Delmon. "Thank you again for your assistance." Turning to the others, he says, "Well, we ought to be off immediately, then. Hopefully we'll catch up to our friends before they get into too much trouble."

"Felix crouches close to the neck of the steed and wraps his cloak close around him. Yes let us go!, Delmon I have no doubt that one of these days my dwarf friend and I will appear to pester you I hope you don't mind too much."

Felix grins.

Thurgan's face was screwed up into a grimace and he muttered, "Three hours, only three hours . . . yea I think I can make it. At least these 'ems aren't really alive . . . "

Thurgan paled when he realized the speed that the magical beasts would be traveling at.
