(Adventure) To Delmon's Aid (Creamsteak Judging)

OoC:The Map was drawn with respect to a view from above on a hillside , so assume that you can see anything that your vantage point shows.

IC: Keeping their heads down, Troi and Velbrik scan the Monestary, noting practice fields, rows of roses and many windows and several doors. There is no sign of anyone inside as well, all is quiet for now...

OOC: Edited in my 0th level spells.

IC:Walking down to the base of the wall, Thale tries to keep his voice down when he calls to the others. "Is it safe for the others and I to come on up?"

Velbrik pokes his head over the wall, putting himself in sight of where the others are standing. "It's safe," he mouths, gesturing with his right arm towards the ropes that are in place against the wall.

Giving up the search as pointless Felix quickly trots over to the point where the ropes hang and dubiously takes one.

"Something tells me I won't be very adept at this"
He mutters ruefully and grins...
"It's all very well for some but obstacle courses didn't feature too heavily in the day to day training at the Guild of Craftsmen or the Academy..."

He tucks his stylish flowing grey cloak and silver trim sash into his belt so as to avoid them getting tangled with his limbs and tries to pull hiself up to where Velbrik is crouching on the wall.

Troi scans the Courtyard for open windows, noting several, as well as one open door <I-13>. Concentrating on detail, he notes several dark stains upon the lawn, far darker than water...

Velbrik waves those down below on up, and Felix climbs easily enough,as well as Thale and Thurgan.
You stand upon a 10' wide structure, most like there are small rooms underneath, forming some sort of small gatehouse structure. There is a ledge that varies from 10' down to about 4' at points running the length of the entire outer wall.

Troi points out the opened door. "My guess is that they went in that way." He says. "Or maybe one a th' open windows. There's quite a few of 'em..."

"An' there's some stains on th' ground, too... don't look like water. Probably blood, that'd be my guess."

"I'm thinkin' we can go through th' door." He says, heading for one of the low points of the ledge, and hops down onto the lawn. "Don't see anythin' that'd make that seem like a bad idea. So unless somebody's seein' somethin' I'm not..." He shrugs.

Velbrik nods. "The door it is, then. Ought to take your rope with you, though." He unhooks his own and Troi's grappling hooks and rope, rolls them up, and hands one to Troi before placing the other in his own backpack. Having done this, he follows Troi down the ledge until they reach the open door.

"Oh," Troi says, taking the offered rope and hook, "thanks. Forgot 'bout that." He stuffs it into his pack, then continues on.

"Hmm... we should be careful in our approach, y'know?" He says, looking around. "Could be archers or somethin' near th' windows, an' if they see us... I'd rather deal with somebody I can see, y'know? So let's do this quick, an' get ta th' door as fast as possible. Hopefully we'll find th' others soon enough..."
