(Adventure) To Delmon's Aid (Creamsteak Judging)

Thurgan - Init 16; AC 18; HP 17/17; Atk: Waraxe +5 (1d10+2, 20/x3)

Thurgan snapped off a shot with his crossbow at the easiest to target, dropped his crossbow and drew his Dwarven waraxe.

"I don' think the blood on the ground was from these 'ums," Thurgan commented as the battle began.

OOC: +3 to hit with Crossbow +1d8 19-20x2

OoC:Felix's first arrow won't have the Bless, as it is being fired before the spell takes effect.

IC:Felix lets fly an arrow at the closest figure, a Monk. <'20', crit confirmed 12HP..dead>, taking the Feral in the eye, killing him instantly.

Thale intones the name of his God, Blessing his allies.

Troi Charges at the other Feral Monk, his blade missing the man, leaving him mere inches from it's gnashing eeth and black claws.

Thurgan shoots that same Monk in the face, his bolt passing through it's open mouth (spraying Troi with blood), <another '20'...these dice hate me in RL...maybe they are for PbP only. Crit,11 HP,dead>killing it instantly.

Felix fires at the remaining Feral, the orc, missing it.

The Orc attacks his closest enemy,Troi <5'step,full attack. Hit Rolled a '20',another'20' and missed the Instant Kill by 1 point...Yikes 17 HP, Troi at -5.>
Troi goes down from a massive sweep of the Orc's falchion, the Orc howling in triumph.

Thale and Velbrik both charge the Orc, though their blows fail to connect...

Thurgan [ICharges[/I] as well, coming upon the Orc from the right, burying his Waraxe into the beast's exposed flank <11HP+4 for Sneak, as it was flanked,15HP total, dead Orc>.

Troi lies upon the ground, unmoving <at -6HP now>.

OoC:Man, what a crazy round. I've never seen so many '20's rolled in a single round, ever...

OoC: I think CS said that we had 3/4 HD every level after first, so if that's true I have 14 hp, which means that the orc dropped me to -3... so I'm now at -4.

velbrik's Cure light Wounds returns Troi to the land of the living <cured 6 HP, Troi at post 2 now>.

Thurgan retrieved his crossbow and reloaded it looking to cover where the creatures just came from while Troi was being attended to. Then, Thurgan will search the bodies looking for any clues as to what happened, as well as booty.

"We should prolly check where they came from, too," Thurgan added.

"Obviously the preists were somehow magicaly turned into creatures like the orcs. The question is, who or what can do this to someone, and weather or not they are still here."
As if noticing Troi's wounds for the first time, Thale does a quick jog over to the ranger and uses the last of his divine energey to heal him

Dropping command to cast CWL, 1d8+1 HP healed.

Troi - HP 10/14

"Thanks, Velbrik, Thale." Troi says, slowly rising. "Damn, that orc messed me up quite a bit..."

He shakes his head. "Yeah, we should prolly check where they came from. An' we should be more alert, an' whatnot..."

Edit: Added HP gained from Thale's CLW.
