River stands up, making sure his holy symbol is hidden and his battle standard is remove from his pole and still in his backpack. He doubt followers of Arawai or members of House Jorasco are welcome here.

A chill wind blows through the camp as the cultists are stirring, some going about seeming menial tasks (such as clearing stones/debris from the area), other take up practice with various weapons, whilst others still appear to be preparing construction of additional buildings.

Just got a message from Evo. He's going ot take a break right now. So... how would you like to proceed? He's the only defender, and really the only stand-up melee PC. Feall can jump in and out, but we saw last fight that assassins aren't built for a toe-to-toe fight. There are two defenders right now. K2 (dimsdale) a paladin, or evilbob's warden, but he'd almost certainly come with antithetist's shaman. All are level 6.

Or I guess maybe we can have someone control Valahad for the last leg of the adventure? Not ideal, but there's not a ton left either.

Pok makes a clicking noise, and a small weasel-like head appears from beneath his neck. After some odd chirping the animal ruffles it's way down one of Pok's sleeves and plops onto the ground without much grace. A skunk, complete with two white stripes shakes itself heartily and stomps at Pok, it scratches the ground and backs up, baring it's teeth. Pok stomps his foot in turn, holding his hands out the small wizard grabs at the air, making hissing noises.

After a couple seconds of this Loki calms down, Pok sits crosslegged, and the small creature climbs into the gnomes lap. Pok then begins speaking with the little skunk scout, [sblock=Chirps, clicks, and squeeks]Hello Loki, could you scout the hallway into the mountain for us? Look at the camp on your way, and if anyone see's you, teleport back instead of running. [/sblock]

Pok Gains an Arcane Familiar, it is a Skunk Scout Homunculus named Loki.
Senses: Low-Light Vision. Speed: 6, Fly 3 (Hover).
Constant Benefits: Pok gains +2 to stealth rolls, and Pok gains a +2 bonus to Scrying Rituals.
Active Benefits: Glamered Scout: Loki Rolls two d20's and takes the higher result for Stealth checks. Independent Spirit: Loki can exist up to a mile away from Pok.

I prefer that somebody here play Val for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is continuity. Especially since renau1g says that we don't have far to go to get to the finish. In our home game, when a player does not show up, a different player always plays his PC and it helps a lot. For one thing, the DM does not have to change the encounters that he has already set up.
