Glancing the items, and remembering Kortauhk's original plea, Pok exposed his hiding place, Kortauhk, I've found your equipment. A small head pops out of the tent and looks around before finding the Goliath's direction.
Kortauhk, hurry. Your equipment is here.

The gnome then moves quickly, exiting the tent, and working his way through the brush to close on the battle. His little hand darting into his robe, pulling the trusted wand that had helped to fell so many foes before.

Feall's mind turns briefly to panic, and he squirms madly in the creature's foul embrace before years of training take over. Body and mind still, and the assassin winks out of existence only to reappear an instant later in perfect position for a strike. He strikes quick as a viper with his falchion, but one of the tentacles bats away the blow.

The large foe seems to be confused for a moment and gives River a chance to act.

"Goddess, protect Valahad" he asks. The biggums feels the confusion amplifying as the goddess touch the creature mind. He then move a bit closer to Sheeva, keeping distance form the creatures.

The large foe swings at Valahad, but its easily sidestepped. The creature growls in frustration.

One of the tentacled horrors charges River, but its appendage can't penetrate the chain armor.

The other one wraps a slimy tendril around Feall again, tearing a wound with its sharp spines.

A hound appears at Valahad's back, seemingly out of thin air,

Valahad steps to the side, and spins, slashing backhanded with his weapon at the creature's legs. The paladin's prayer empowers his weapon, weakening the creature's strikes. "I'm coming River!"

Sorry about the hp confusion, was nearly completed the update when my wife called that she was at the hospital with my son. I didn't review the post before rushing out of the office. He's fine now, he has pneumonia though so that sucks, but at least they're treating it.[/sblock]

As Sheeva moves near Biggums, a cloud of deepest darkness descends around her. A moment later, a thunderous gust of wind comes up and blows Biggums and the Hound back in the direction of the camp.
