[sblock=renau1g] Awesome. If I could get you to use Avalanche Strike on the Baron that would be GREAT. If you miss with the attack, feel free to expend Lan's use of Divine Guidance (Channel Divinity power), an Immediate Interrupt power that lets an ally within 5 squares of him (that is attacking his oath of enmity target) to roll another attack roll and use either result for his attack. If the attack hits (and he hasn't already used it), please also use Thusks' Furious Assault free action power that lets him deal an extra 1d12 damage on a hit with his fullblade. If he can spare the HP, using his BloodClaw weapon property would be nice too, but I'm not controlling him, nor do I know if he would use that ability again, so I'll leave that to you. Thanks for giving me a say in Thusk's actions![/sblock]

Silly Buggers, Pok throws a small net, that grows in size and frosts over, spraying a freezing mist, and hampering his foes. The Sivis house member deftly controls the spray away from River, and himself.

There's no where to hide... River, I'm hurt, but save your prayers until it seems I might die. Pok press' against the mast holding the wound in his side. *I'm disappearing at the first chance...* thought the knowledgeable gnome, looking for a spot to hide.
[sblock=OOC]

Chilling Cloud, burst 1 centered on J5 11 vs fortitude on both Raiders (Rolling double 3's) :(
Effect: all enemies in powers area take -2 penalty to attack rolls TE of Pok's NT.

Move shift H4

Minor Active Perception 7

Ouch, low rolls for Pok this go round.

Pok will use his fade ability if hit this round, unless Shield will block the hit... Then he will shield to avoid the damage.

[sblock=renau]Okay nevermind the use of that power then. I had read it as he needed to make three saves. If he can get adj to me on his turn, that'd be great.[/sblock]

An awful feeling washes over Pok, Dread, no worse, Death! Something is wrong with Roswyn! Pok's face becomes a mess of panic, I have to do something, Lanharath! Roswyn is hurt! The feeling had only passed over Pok once before, when Roswyn had been held hostage during a particularly hostile negotiation. River! DO SOMETHING! The gnome wells up a bit, anyone?!

Lanharath gently speaks into the panicked gnomes mind.

"Pok, unless you have the means to instantly travel to her location, the best thing we can do for your sister is keep you alive and finish our mission as quickly as we can. We give you a solemn oath that if anything happens to your sister, we will track down the fiends that dare to harm her. And trust us... no-one can hide from Lanharath d'Medani for long. We will find them, and then they will pay!"

Determined to help Thusk and Valahad finish of the worst threat first, Lanharath ignores the not-so-stealthy guard that managed to climb its way back up the deck of the ship, continuing to circle around the Baron. Lanharath pretends to stumble, luring the Baron closer and at the last second, he rolls to the side and stabs out at the giant sahaguain, Il-Yannah's holy light guiding his blade. The Baron stumbles forward from the wound in his side and this places him between Lanharath and the sneaking sahaguain guard.

[sblock=Lan]
If you wouldn't mind taking control of Thusk until end of battle I'm cool with that, you might need access to all his resources in this difficult fight, so I remove the restriction against using his dailes/ AP's. It isn't fair that your biggest hitter is restricted so much.

River, seeing the raider threatening him and Pok, decide to take a chance and Command the raider to go to help his leader, but he is only answered by the trust of the raider's Trident, which is turned aside by the shifter's trusted armour.

"The Light of Il-Yannah protects me, your efforts will not succeed here. Retreat back to the depth of which you came and seek redemtion for your sins or else face nothing but misery!" The kalashtar steps forward after the stumbling sea devil, and swings his blade towards it's midsection. Though the blade misses, Valahad calls out to Thusk's mind. "Do not fear, Il-Yannah blesses us," and a divine glow surround the barbarian.

Thusk sees his opening and takes it, putting all his momentum behind a devestating swing that carries the weight of a mountain avalanche behind it, but leaves the barbarian open to counterattack.

[sblock=OOC]
Thusk uses Avalanche Strike - vs ac; damage (1d20+11=29, 3d12+6=25) Hits for 25 damage

Silly Buggers, Pok throws a small net, that grows in size and frosts over, spraying a freezing mist, and hampering his foes. The Sivis house member deftly controls the spray away from River, and himself. The sahaguins tough skin provides them excellent protection against the wizards cold.

There's no where to hide... River, I'm hurt, but save your prayers until it seems I might die. Pok press' against the mast holding the wound in his side. *I'm disappearing at the first chance...* thought the knowledgeable gnome, looking for a spot to hide.

The raiders work together and surround the shifter, skewering him twice as he can't dodge both attacks. The guard manages a lucky strike against Valahad, piercing the paladin's armour and drawing a minor wound. The priest cannot overcome Valahad's faith and strong sense of self.

The Baron sees the paladin battling in his mind against the priest and uses the distraction to stab him with the trident and to draw a deep wound on his chest that continues to bleed.

[sblock=OOC]
So Pok, River, and Valahad missed, Lan & Thusk hit.

Raiders move to flank River - Both hit vs ac; damage (1d20+13=31, 1d8+5=13, 1d20+13=27, 1d8+5=8) for 21 damage and you're marked by raider 1

Guard 2 stabs Valahad for 5 damage - 1d20+9=24

Priest misses Valahad (who has cover) 1d20+12=13, 3d6+4=9

Baron - aaginst Valahad - Vs AC; trident; vs ac; claw 1; vs ac; claw 2 (1d20+11=23, 2d4+4=7, 1d20+11=13, 1d6+4=7, 1d20+11=27, 1d6+4=6) hit twice for 13 damage, ongoing 5 damage (save ends)

Status:
Baron - marked by Valahad, Oath'd by Lanharath, BLOODIED
River - marked by raider 1, bloodied?
Valahad - ongoing 5 damage (save ends)

The boat is a close approximation, but there are no ballistas or lifeboats, the only sail is the one in the middle (along F/G coordinates). The only raised area is the southern part where the Kalashters are located.

The stairs are difficult terrain, they're 10 feet up, so it takes 4 squares of movement to get up or down from the raised area.

Init:
Bad guys - 20
Lanharath - 19 <- you're up
River - 15
Valahad - 14
Thusk - 10
Pok - 7
*Funny that the highest init mods of the PCs got the lowest rolls.
Lanharath; Valahad; Pok; Thusk; River; baddies (1d20+4=19, 1d20+2=14, 1d20+5=7, 1d20+8=10, 1d20+1=15, 1d20+7=20)

Lanharath steps behiind the brutish Baron and stabs him in the lower back. Most of the impact is deadened by the creatures tough slippery hide and the blade doesn't find much purchase, but still manages to draw a thin line of blood. Pulling his sword back into a ready stance, Lanharath prepares himself to dash forward should the beast decide to run. Lanharath taunts the Baron in his mind.

"You have no chance against us, demon of the water! We are swiftly ebbing away your life force. RUN! Run away and save yourself before you are blinded by Il-Yannah's light reflecting off of our blade as it protrudes from your chest!"

[sblock=Actions]
Move: Shift to C4, thereby flanking the Baron with Valahad.
