Yes, the next leg of the skill challenge will be a travelling affair. Endurance checks will be needed and if the party presses on through the night and day, the DC will go up quite a bit (moving from Normal to Hard DCs), which might not be the most recommended situation with the fairly low bonuses many of the group has. Heal can be used during a break in town to lower the DC penalties those who fail the Endurance checks suffer on their next one. I.e. River failed endurance, he would face DC+2 on the next one, but with the successful Heal check it's back down to DC.

[SBLOCK=OOC]River failed his first Endurence check and no Heal have been done on him, so he still have the penalty. Sheeva also have the penalty, even if Pok has try to Heal her, because he failed.

But you said:

[SBLOCK=OOC]I don't need endurance checks yet, but will use the rolls for the next leg of the journey.[/SBLOCK]

As River has roll a natural 20, he should be ok for the next stretch.[/SBLOCK]

Valahad speaks in the mind of Lanharath. I am not in favor of traveling so quickly. We would ride our horses to death. If that doesn't happen, we are likely to be exhausted for the battles ahead for sleeping atop a mount.

"I don't like the idea either to travel at night. We could catch up on the drow, but we are already tired, I doubt it would do much good to fall on any threat while we are exhausted." tells River

"The other two options we have then, are to either travel only at night to maintain cover (though we fear this may slow us down considerably), or accept the hospitality the farmer has sold to us, and sleep in his barn for the night, then pick up the trail tomorrow morning and travel only during the day. It would definitely be safest to travel during the day, even if it does not provide us cover."

Abram looks at you and then stands up, "Well, I'ma gunna head in fer the night, gotta be up early with the crops and such. Y'all enjoy the stay, or not I guess, and gud luck findin' yer palydin." the farmer says as he leaves you to your discussions, after taking the proferred gold from River, however he leaves the gold piece that Pok gave him, muttering "Ain't takin' none of that devil gold" under his breath as he leaves it on the table.

FYI, I'll update tomorrow on the assumption that you'll be riding through the day, resting at night, as more voted for it and for either pushing through, or riding at night & sleeping all day.

Did the farmer blow off my queries of the other Drow? Or did you just forget renau1g?

After the farmer leaves, Sheeva says:

"I do not wish to be a burden, but riding on a horse or in a wagon day in and night out is something that could be very strenuous for those of us not used to it. Plus, we have no idea that night is actually safer than daytime."

Sheeva picks a spot to sleep that is defensible, even from her fellow PCs, be that a loft or a stall. She will ensure that any bugs, or manure, or other trash is removed from the area.
