[sblock=clear as mud] With tiny flecks of crystal :) That will work nicely. For some reason I was thinking LAN had 3075, not 3750, so that's why I thought I needed the RP. Kind of a bummer that I'll be losing out on my 4 RP and that I'll be losing out on a bunch of gold (due to retirement process), but I guess that's the price I pay for playing as a "new toy" just as soon as it comes out. At least I know, now, that I absolutely love the warden, so we shouldn't be seeing a retirement by me again any time soon. [/sblock]

"I've been fooled... I though the Flame was warding us from there blow... there weapon was simply changed by the illusion of there power. They were fighting with light weapon changed into heavy weapon." River sits down into the step of the stair. Is my faith blinding me?

"Do not be so hard on yourself River. I too was fooled. Only Pok and Val saw completely through their illusions. It's not your faith that was in error, it was your eyes. And remember, it's during the times of misdirection and illusion when the gods test our faith the most. Do not falter and do not lose your faith, or the enemies of good will win for sure." Sheeva says sitting down next to River.

Karin's Dad said:
"In the meantime, ..." Sheeva spins around walks up to Val, slaps him on the chest of his platemail and says:

"Good job there Val taking out Scarface." as she walks past.

Valahad simply nodded as she passed him by. He gave a mental sigh. Strange she was. He really wanted to berate her for her to be willing to cause harm to them. Sometimes he would forget others could not sense others emotions and falsehoods as well as he. Her mood was much different now too. Maybe they can finally work together.

The only conscious enemy escaped, Pok's focus shifted to reviewing the battle, Lanharath, I expect the alleged-spy to say my name in front of enemies, but you know better... little arms cross, and Pok's eyes mist up. How am I supposed to impress my family, if everybody knows who Pok is? with his voice cracking the sensitive d'Sivis continued, Then we let a confirmed spy get away, with all the information we just gave him! Pok seems on the verge of breaking down. including my name, *Hickgulp* the gnome chokes back some tears, and resumes his sad silence.

LEVEL! WOO HOO!

I've got to get Elec-Squall approved!

Lanharath stood in the middle of the pit and did not seem to hear Pok's emotional words. His eyes seemed to be glowing with a slight golden light and for the first time since you've known him, he doesn't seem to be looking at anything. He seemed to be in some kind of strange trance. Lanharath was nodding his head slowly and mumbling to himself, almost like he was talking to someone that no-one else could see.

Storm clouds that seemed to come out of nowhere appeared overhead and, luckily for the group, did not seem to break, but rather, they almost seemed to move with some kind of purpose towards the Shadow Marches.

While Lanharath continues to nod to himself, you notice the oddest thing. Gradual at first, you noticed that Lanharath's form seemed to be fading and that you were able to see THROUGH him! After only half a minutes' time, Lan's form faded from view, and all that was left behind was the scrap of cloth that was found at the landslide a few days back.

The storm clouds thundered in the distance as a high altitude wind blew it away from you.

[sblock=Exit Stage Left] And that's that for Lanharath. As soon as you guys get to the next town, you'll meet my new character! See you guys then! [/sblock]

Feall looks around wildly after Lan's disappearance. "Um . . . can someone tell me what's going on? Is that supposed to happen? Does he do it often?"

The young assassin seems to have lost much of the self assurance he demonstrated in the recent combat.

Valahad looks on in alarm as Lanharath's behavior changes. As the other kalashtar fades from view he sees his companions responses to the strange occurance.

The paladin speaks in their minds, except Sheeva's. Hopefully River conveys his words. "Lan has been absorbed by il-Yannah. His good deeds have been recognized. His work to turn the age has helped, now he joins the spirit of new age."

Valahad steps to Pok. "It will be okay. At least none of us can see you now, right?"
