Let's find where the Flame headquarters for this area was located, that's our top priority for the mission, reconnaissance on the Flame group here. Pok looks to River, What do you say?

Lanharath smiles at Valahad's mental suggestions.

"Yes, we shall go with Pok and make any observations that we can. Perhaps we can overhear something at the tavern. Pok is much more suited towards being stealthy than we are, but we should be able to see anything coming well before they spot Pok. Good luck to you, and may The Light be with you always."

[sblock=Actions] Lanharath will go with Pok. Feel free to roll any stealth/perception checks necessary for Lanharath if it will speed things up. Just keep in mind that Lanharath get's to roll 2d20 + 19 and take the better of the two for Perception.

Due to his Telepathic Sensitivity feat, Lanharath gets to roll 2d20 + 22 (and take the better of the two) instead if the roll opposes a minded creature's stealth roll. Lanharath's stealth roll is simply 1d20 + 9...far inferior to Pok's, lol. [/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]I am back. I'll read everything later today to come back. But I have a question, could an overhaul happen now? If yes, I would gladly do it to River. He was a pacifist at start (and choose so even before DP goes out), but with DP now on board, I can do exactly what I wanted, and not be halfway to it.[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=OOC]River ready to be approved for overhaul[/SBLOCK]

"He might have contracted that disease even before we leave, so I can't tell how he got it. Disease that strike fast are generally spread by creature and there is some magical effect that catalyze the disease into the body system, but I don't think the Sahuagin could do that. That one must have incubated in his body for a few days. Too bad I wasn't able to do anything against that disease... it still out of my reach to heal him quickly. But he will be good." replies River to Pok's question.

"Valahad, let's go find the refugee. They should probably need some healer's help. Being cast away from home degrade a lot their life condition. Also, we might learn a few things from them, even more if we are helping them."

[SBLOCK=Action]I suggest River and Valahad goes talk to the refugee. With soem good Heal roll if they need it, they will see we are here to help. After that, Diplomacy (now at +10 for River) and Insight, we might be able to learn much by talking to them.[/SBLOCK]

"Yes, that sounds like a plan," Valahad says in the minds of his companions. "River and I will go to the refugees. Lanharath and Pok shall go to a tavern to find out information more subtly. We shall then meet at the Flamist's headquarters. Good?"

Lanharath nods at the mental plan.

"Come Pok, we have information to gather. What tidbit of information do you think we should try to get first?"

*The location of the Flames base of operation, and if any of it's members are still present.* Pok responds with no hesitation, the thoughts are crystal clear and direct.
*You're more familiar with stripping information from people, though that may not be required, if there is a good source of public information here, like a Sivis notary, or government clerk. Let's check on that, then visit the local Tavern to ply your skill. Where is our regroup and when will it be? That is where we should go if there is an emergency as well...*

"We would think we should regroup right here, as it is closest to any true escape... our ship. As for stripping information from people, we are no true mind-reader; at least not yet. We can only "hear" the surface thoughts that people are not mentally strong enough to lock away. It helps that we can "steer" the path of these thoughts to a certain extent, but if someone is mentally strong enough to not think of something, there's no way for us to get at it. We call it "hearing a brick wall."

[sblock=OOC] On a completely unrelated note...I cannot WAIT till the PHB 3 comes out and we can use Skill Powers. There's 2 that I'm particularly looking forward to. The first, at level 6, is an encounter utility called Guided Shot. It will let me use an Immediate Interrupt to allow an ally who has missed an attack vs AC to target Reflex instead. Situational, but right up Lan's alley. The second (and way more awesome) is at level 10. It's a Daily utility that will let me use my Passive Perception check in place of initiative for me and one ally within 5 squares. By level 10... even if I don't update my equipment to improve my perception checks... I will have a Passive Perception of something like... 30. That pretty much guarantees that once per day me and an ally will go first unless we are going up against something ridiculously quick. Also, I have decided that I WILL be switching over to the Censure of Unity, so I'll have that stated up for approval sometime today. [/sblock]

You ask around and between your social prowess you manage to locate the local Temple of the Silver Flame. The evening is wearing on and the sun has set beyond the horizon, magical illumination has appeared in the various street lights set-up in this nice area of town. The heavy wooden doors are closed and after a tentative pull, they are locked.

What was once a grassy common in the center of town has become a field of makeshift tents. The number of refugees is hard to count, more arriving each day to replace those picking up to head east for more civilized lands. The exiles are a mix of races and cultures.

[/sblock]

[sblock=Perception DC 10 for Valahad/River or DC 20 for Pok/Lan]
You hear shouting coming from the refugee area and then a child's screams, before they're silenced
