River looks around. This camp of refugee remind him so much bad memories of the days that have followed the day of Mourning, where he would see the gathering of his people in town near the border of the Mournland. This also remind him that his family might be death, or they have taken refugee somewhere he hasn't been yet. Too much bad memory in a short moment, River takes a deep breath and cast aside all that, but all those thought have distracted him.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Passive, yeah... I just have the habit, if there is a DC, I have to roll.[/SBLOCK]

Then a sound snap River out of his thought. "Have you heard that?" asks the cleric to his companion.

[sblock=ooc] Lanharath makes the DC 20 perception check by rolling 34. [/sblock]

Lanharath hears the scream and motions to everyone to get their attention. Speaking into their minds he indicates that they should be as quiet as possible while he scouts out the area.

Slinking to the side of the building, Lanharath places an ear to wall, trying to hear anything more inside the building.

[sblock=Perception check to listen] 33 [/sblock]

If he hears nothing inside of the building, he will look around for a viable entrance to the building.

[sblock=perception check to look for entrance] 30 [/sblock]

[sblock=Lanharath]
The walls are worked stone and block your attempts to listen in.

There is a side entrance as well, this one appears locked as well.

You hear the front door open and a women's voice.
[/sblock]

[sblock=Pok]
As Lanharath disappears around the side of the building, the front door opens and a female wearing a robe opens the portal. "Who are you! Where did that scream come from!" she demands
[/sblock]

Hearing the woman's voice, Lanharath attempts to sneak to the corner of the building, without being seen by the woman, just in case she attacked the group.

[sblock=Stealth Check] 16 [/sblock]

Pok doesn't notice the scream, as he is focused on detecting any aura of magic in the immediate area, the tingle of Lanharath warning him to maintain silence, and then the kalashtar was around the corner. That was when the door opened and a woman saw this gnome, wiggling fingers, half hidden by some debris. Oh god, You can see me?! yelps Pok, *Lanharath she sees me! Why didn't you say you heard someone coming?* Thinks Pok, hoping the kalshtar in mindshot.

A deep breath, I'm Perky, nice to meet you madam. Do you have an affinity for Sacramental Rapid-oxidation?

Valahad looked upon the refugees with a mixture of hope and sorrow. The people were much like his own, pushed from the land into the moutains of Adar. Hope for the better, for the turning of the age. Valahad looks into the group, the agents of the Inspired were everywhere, he seeks some sort of recognition in the eyes of the refugees a quori spirit.

The paladin steps closer to the throng, walking through the mud, that was once grass. The scream rings out over the area, "Yes, let's go," he says in the mind of River. The paladin keeps his hands on his blade so as to not start a panic, and then pushes through the crowd, toward the scream.

[sblock="Perky"/Lanharath]
The woman looks at "Perky" and pushes past you, listening for a moment, then she turns back into the building "Sisters, to arms! There is a disturbance at the refugees" as the door shuts loudly in your face.

You here continued shouting from the refugee area.

OOC - you're one full round away should you go investigate

[sblock=Valahad/River]
As the rain continues to fall, you move to the refugee camp and see the area lit by sunrods, they're light allowing you to see more clearly. Unfortunately, the scene is one better left unseen. A few humans lie dead on the ground, a group of five armed figures move around the area, a pair tear down a tent and one of them brings down a mace on the helpless people inside.

A dwarf is also visible from the north, he carries a bastard sword and wears full plate, a holy symbol is evident around his neck.

[sblock=Gorlin]
You've recently arrived in Moonwatch, sent by The Sovereign Host temple in Sharn to provide support to the Silver Flamists in the area with their trouble relating to cultists. You took the land route here.

You also notice a heavily armed duo at the south end of the street, one is a kalashter in full plate, the other is a shifter in chainmail, the shifter has a holy symbol around his neck.

[sblock=OOC]
Illumination: The staff wielder carries a sunrod (bright light out to 20 squares).
Tents: Tents can be opened from any side. One tent wall provides cover; two provide superior cover.
Fallen Tent: This heap of canvas is difficult terrain.
Buildings: Shops and houses are blocking terrain.
