A strange situation I find myself in. I like these people, and feel like I'm becoming a part of something in a way I never was while I was in the Acrobats. But for it to happen so quickly . . . very strange. And now they're disappearing. Will the rest of them go as well? Abandon me, one by one until I'm alone again?
Feall looks around again at his new . . . friends . . . then quietly goes back to searching the bodies. Sighting a very nice suit of leathers on one of the archers, he looks at his own tattered suit. With a shrug he quickly strips the armor off the girl and settles in to clean the blood from it before exchanging it for his own. The armor is a near perfect fit for Feall's small frame. The gathering shadows don't bother him nearly as much as Lan's disappearance.
Pok looks tired, and sad. He needs some time to regroup, I think.
"What now? I could use a rest . . . a better one than what we got last night. There's some cover here, but I don't really like the feel of this place. Should we try to find one more, um, comfortable?"

I assume River passed the information on to Sheeva, I was waiting for Velmont to post, but it looks like renau1g is trying to move us forward.

"Lan ..." Sheeva looks up at the sky after River tells her about il-Yannah.
She pauses for a few seconds, then turns around angrily, her eyes flashing bright red, even as tears stream down the sides of her face.
"il-Yannah! When a dragon is ripping off your legs, there's never a god around to help, but when you don't need one, they're as thick as flies on a cow patty."
"Can anyone else track around here? Val, you're a Kalashtar. Can you track like Lan could?"
Not even waiting for an answer, Sheeva quickly sprints out of the pit and claps her hands.
"Come on people, move! The Tiefling got away. We have to assume that he is heading back to the cultists and possibly to the Flamists. It's starting to get dark. Feall and I can easily see in the dark and lead the rest of you if it gets too dark for you to see. We need to get as far as we can before that happens. We can surprise these cultists if we find them and sneak up on them. We don't have time to rest Faile. If these shapeshifters found us so easily, the rest of the cultists have to be close by. We should be practically on top of them. We need to take the fight to them instead of hiding out in the woods for them to ambush us again, especially now that the Tiefling can go back and warn them. We're only a few minutes behind him. Let's get there before they can send out a larger group to attack us."
[sblock=OOC]If people haven't figured it out yet, Sheeva handles loss or near loss with anger. And, she knows nothing of il-Yannah, she just considers him a god like any other god (even though he isn't).[/sblock]
Feall moves quietly over to Sheeva's side, calmly touching her wrist. He speaks in soothing tones and uses his native charm to its full effect, but takes care to keep any hint of patronization from his voice.
{whisper}"Sheeva, we're all upset. Pok is on the edge, and none of us slept well. You're angry, I know, and anxious to get to the Tiefling. I agree that we don't need to stay here, but we do need to find a place to regroup - Pok especially, I think. I won't balk you aloud but I wish you'd go with me on this."{/whisper}
Valahad gives another mental sigh. Speaking in Pok's mind. "Flighty isn't she? You are good at hiding my friend, perhaps you could find a good spot, away from here. Flailing around in the dark will only attract more attention anyway."
Valahad watches as the monetary gains are gathered in a pile. Waving his open hand, palm out, the kalashtar shakes his head. Addressing, Feall, "These are a recent treasure," he says mentally, pointing to his bracers. "I will forego my share of the coin."
[SBLOCK=OOC]Let keep the gold for common spending and then split it once this adventure is finished and we know what magical item everyone have.[/SBLOCK]
[sblock=OOC]Cool. Just wasn't sure what the convention is here.[/sblock]
[sblock=actions]
So... the consensus is to find somewhere to rest and set out in the morning?[/sblock]
[sblock=actions]That's my vote.[/sblock]
[sblock=Actions]Mine as well.[/sblock]
[sblock=actions] Mine too! I wanna get back in on this!Speaking of which, do you know if anyone is looking at Kortauhk for approval?[/sblock]
[sblock=Vote]My vote is to keep moving now that we might have a chance to get after these guys right away. I'm not sure why everyone always wants to do an extended rest after each fight.
What kind of heroes are those???
We might as well get our fingernails manicured while we are at it. Maybe a massage.

CaBaNa said:We should go and hide in the open. The cultists obviously already knew who we were, where we were, and what we were looking for. Pok unconsciously looks at Sheeva, but quickly recovers. We are disadvantaged by the dark, weakened, and our moral is low, now is not the time to strike. As a former Courier in times of war, the best place to hide, will be a city while we are behind enemy lines. We should disguise ourselves, and we have an added advantage that our party is one less than they truly expect. One person at a time into the inn, we sleep in the same room, and one person at a time leaves. All in favor?
