River get out of his thought. "Sheeva might have a good idea. If we go to them as soon as possible, we could find them unprepared to our arrival. The only thing, are we capable to follow the Tiefling tracks?"

Valahad speaks to River in his mind. "Most times I would agree with you. Letting an enemy escape is not a good idea. But this time, I think it would be best of us to rest. You are assuming the tiefling has allies nearby. I think he was running to save his own skin. If the allies were that close, they'd already be here. He'd rather slink off into the darkness and hope we don't find him than risk fighting us again.

We are all tired. The nightmares still plague my thoughts. We've walked through mountains and just experienced a hard battle. I think we would gain more to find a defensible place to rest and set double watches."

"I agree with you River. We are a bit tired, but having enemies attack while three of us are sleeping sounds suicidal. Also, these cultists have found out our exact location twice. It's time that we take the fight to them and not let them find our exact location a third time while many of us are asleep. That sounds like the height of folly. Does anyone truly think that our odds of surviving a fight started while asleep are better than the odds are if started awake?" Sheeva asks.

"I am also concerned about the Flamists. If we are close, the cultists might panic and decide to just kill them while we delay. I do not want it on my conscience that we could have rescued them, but stopped to rest instead, or even stopped to argue about this. Can you live with that on your conscience Pok?"

Valahad speaks softly in the mind of Sheeva, almost so she thinks it's her own thoughts. "Once again we are assuming they have allies nearby, and they meant to find us. Perhaps they were travelling like we were, seeking shelter for the night, taking an appropriate form that they had encountered already."

"I think the Flamists are already dead. Of course, I don't know for sure, which is why we should continue on in the morning. Things don't look good now."

A cracking and unsteady voice reiterates advice, They'll comb the woods for us. We'd never be in the city, we'd get killed in the city. That's why 5 monstrous humanoids are going to be in the city. That's where we aren't. Even with his emphasis the sound is barely above a whisper, Pok looks around conspiratorially.

Puffing out his little chest, Pok points to his heart with his thumb, In my expert opinion, Sheeva, you are a seductress, and a spy, or a fool. Yes, I can handle completing my mission, even if that requires returning bodies to the Flamists. Can your conscience bear the weight, if in your haste, this group traipses unprepared into the middle of an enemy stronghold and several members die? Mine can't, especially after already losing Lanharath to... Pok shakes his head, and returns to his accusation with even more confidence, Sure! You can see, but did you even consider the safety of anyone else? No, you've lost sight of the mission. Or you're here to counter our efforts. Which is it? Pok's tone builds in confidence as the words spill forth, until his voice is strong and resonant in his rebuttal.

Pok sends a short but concise message to Valahad as an aside, *Khyber Cultists revolve around the dark...*

"Ok, that's it! All I ever did was try to help here Pok and this is the second time you accused me of being a spy. The only spy I see around here is the small one who has been sowing discontent around here from day one. I'm leaving to go kill those cultists. Anyone who wants to come with is free to come. Anyone who wants to go hide in the woods and be afraid and be the next person on Pok's spy list, be my guest. Choose your friends wisely people. I'm leaving."

Eyes flashing red, Sheeva starts heading up the road in the direction that we have not yet gone.

*Let her go Valahad, she'll report to them, now I'm not sure if the city is a good idea... Sheeva may tip off the cultists of that option, and it requires surprise. * Pok thinks to Valahad, aloud he says, You haven't been here from day one. Pok feels like Roswyn would have had a better comeback, and watches the unaffected Drow stalk away.

Valahad does let her go. He couldn't see in the dark like she could and all they needed was for him to fall and twist his knee. Giving a knowing glance at Feall, the paladin begins cleaning his equipment.
