D&D 5E Adventures in Rokugan Arrives August 5th

Adventures in Rokugan is Edge Studios' official 5E version of Legend of the Five Rings, announced last year. Legend of the Five Rings is an East Asian inspired setting which goes all the way back to the 1990s, and was purchased by Fantasy Flight Games in 2018, before being moved over to FFG's sister company, Edge Studios in 2020 (which has taken over all the TTRPG operations from FFG, including Star Wars).

The 5E version includes new classes -- Shinobi, Pilgrim, Courtier, Ritualist, Bushi, Duelist, Acolyte -- and various new shapeshifting animal species.

It's coming out on August 5th and will cost $49.99.

Adventures in Rokugan brings the famous setting of Legend of the Five Rings to the ever-popular ruleset of the 5th Edition SRD. Players can explore this rich setting in a whole new light, and the familiar rules promise to engage an entirely new audience of roleplaying fans. Alongside a new focus on roleplaying activities such as dungeon delving and monster hunting, Adventures in Rokugan promises to provide something for all fans of Rokugan.

So, I know we have the D&D monsters in the MM, but there are very few foes listed in the Back of the Book.

Does anyone know if they are going to come out with more enemies or such in another book, or if there is a source I can get more Enemies for parties to battle than what is found in the back of the book?
Mobius Worlds Publishing has a series of "Beasts from the East" 5e monster books with stats and descriptions for monsters from Japanese, Chinese, and Indian folklore. The Japanese ones would probably be the most applicable but each would have things that fit in well. There are shadow appropriate monsters from each regions' monsters.

Multiclassing lists ability pre-reps and a few feature overlaps, but I’m drawing a loss for what proficiencies the new class should be allowed. Any ideas?

So a new copy of the book lacks errata, but there is a code for a free PDF on DriveThruRpg.com on the contents page. The errata is in the pdf, for example, Channeling allows you to once per day, after a short rest, regain favor equal to the lesser of your level and proficiency bonus.

Still not enough, but better than nothing, I guess.

So, you can get back 13 favor points?

Ah no, sorry, it's favor points equal to your level, to a maximum of your proficiency bonus. So at level 3, when you get the ability, you can get 2 favor. Why they just didn't say proficiency bonus, I'm not sure, but the exact text is: "at 3rd level, your spiritual bonds deepen. Once per day when you finish a short rest, you can recover favor equal to the lower of your ritualist level or proficiency bonus."

If it specifically calls out the ritualist level, then it must be reign in the multiclassers. But even then, it should just be equal to the proficiency bonus.

I see a block for a code but no code. How did yours work?

Sadly, the pdf doesn't seem to tell you what you're meant to do if a subclass gives you proficiency in a save you already have. I had read a comment online that implied that you're supposed to get "expertise" in that save, but if the pdf says this, I haven't found it yet.

Are you saying if I redownload the pdf I purchased it will have the errata in it?

Cause all I see is this in my pdf (presumably if I owned the book) and nothing stating that errata has been applied.

I just like giving them cantrips like Booming Blade and Green-Flame Blade so that way Ritualists get to do SOMETHING if they are outta their points.
