Advice: Oracle/Seer Build?

I've never played an Oracle before, and am looking for a little advice on how to set one up. This game should go to level 20. I'm very interested in the Seer archetype, using an Elf. Our DM is using a 20 pt buy for ability scores, and usually starts with only one trait. I like to play all types of characters, so I'm not too worried about fighting styles or anything. The rest of the party is up in the air still. I'm not really sure about the best way to create this character.

So, basically, what advice would you give for building an effective Seer? Which spells create a reliable arsenal? Anyone had any interesting experiences playing a Seer?

Well, the Lore and War mysteries are pretty kickass. With War you will be a great combatant while Lore lets you replace quite a lot of things with charisma and allow you to do some sweet tricks.

We need more info on the type of campaign and your style of play to further advice you.
