Alright, domain spells are ones prepared in the domain slot. It is fairly clear.
However, chances are it wouldn't be a problem in this specific case if spontaneously casting empowered, maximized spells from the Healing domain by sacrificing a non-domain slot was allowed. Healing in combat tends to suck since it can't keep up with the damage (or effects) being done, especially by using the Cure line, so giving them that boost could actually make it worthwhile action-for-action, assuming it's still a Standard action.
