Nope. But if it turns out Veronica is knocked up with Jughead's kid while Archie was left for dead in a coma at the hospital when the outbreak starts...

It's not too bad at all, and no, it's not for kids. You get some cool backstory bits (Like, seeing Veronica's mother meeting Sabrina's aunts, or how Mr Lodge became the big man in town), along with a perfectly in-universe reason for this horror: Jughead's dog gets run over and killed, so Jughead brings him to Sabrina to see if she can do anything. She tries something she should not, and does bring back Hotdog... but not all the way.



So, Jughead, the eternally hungry teen, becomes the first zombie. There's some nice little call-outs to other Archie series, like Archie being at the Halloween party in a Pureheart the Powerful costume.
