Agents of D.E.L.V.E.

((Init: Rolled 8 + 4 = 12 total))
Kazadi reacts quickly, not entirely suprised. He retreats and draws back his bow, ready to loose his arrow into the first corpse to begin rising, careful to keep his comanions out of the line of fire. "Shouldv'e let him burn it all..." he mutters grimly.

((Retreating move-action (30'), readying my attack action against the first (or failing that the closest) body to rise.))

*Pik-ik-cha clicks his claws together in anticipation of the coming battle. Giving a chittering cry, he skitters towards the first enemy he sees.*

Kazath grips hold of his spiked chain, but delays until after the zombies move. After they move, he'll move in and attack the closest one.

Your former allies rise. The fading light plays tricks with the dessicated forms, seeming to.. No, not seeming, the true horror of their transformation becomes evident as they move more quickly than Undead should. Where their mouths used tobe, horrid leech-like openings gasp hungrily. As they advance, small black leeches drop from their glistening needle-like teeth.

Kazadi looses his first arrow aimed for the... abomination farthest from his companions. Almost before the first arrow strikes, he draws and looses another, aimed at the same target. As the second arrow leaves his fingers, he mutters to himself, "...find peace, Sons of Shadow..."

*Pik-ik-cha slices at the leach-thing with his claws, coming down in an almost elegant chevron pattern as he attacks. He attacks in complete silence, hoping to keep from attracting any more abominations until these were dealt with.*

OOC - 5 attacks, hitting 17, 14, 9, 13, and 21. Dealing 7, 4, 7, 5, and 4 points of damage respectively.

Erran frowns as he closes in, fists at the ready. o O (What manner of creature could have turned the Sons of Shadow... into this?) O o He puts the thoughts out of his mind, however, concentrating on the moment as he moves to engage one of the leech-like opponents. Both fists lash out with incredible speed (if not strength) in an effort to take down the opponent before he himself is taken out.

(( Full-Round Action: Flurry of Blows. Rolled 17 and 19, striking AC 21 and 23 respectively. Potential Damage: 4 (first attack) and 7 (second attack). ))

At the sight of the first creature appearing from the swamp, Adamesk lets out a scream of rage and heads for the enemy. He draws his shortsword as he moves with furious speed. Another yell escapes his lips as he brings about his blade to strike the foul enemy.

((OOC: Charging at the zombie/thing. Attack total: 25(14roll +2charging +9 from base/sword/etc. Damage = 1d6+4, total=8 damage. Adamesk's AC is now 16 until his next round due to -2 penalty to AC from charging))
