Ahsoka - SPOILERS

Wait, that was the finale? Oh, Carmen is going to be ticked off! The whole season was basically a prequel to bring Thrawn back...grrrr! It's a like a Marvel series - all kind of pointless prequel.

Okay, that is super frustrating. Overall, this thing has a great cast, fantastic visuals, aside from some character CGI, bad to mediocre writing, a plot that relies way too much on inside baseball and ultimately culminates in the thing that was obviously preordained from episode 1 - a whole series to move some deck chairs around a bit.

Disney+ needs to stop treating its series as accessories for other products.

Both can be built in SWSE lol. Sabine Soldier 7/Elite Trooper/1 Jedi 1 or 3.

I forget the force tradition using martial arts but that's Ezra. Could also be artistic license on screen. Luke used a force kick after all in RotJ;).

I enjoyed the series, but it does feel like one very long prologue. I'd have liked it to be significantly more self-contained.
This - you can have an ongoing series where each season still feels like it meant something (c.f. Andor)!

Marvel has even fallen into this trap with their movies of late. What was the point of Quantumania except to bring in a mediocre BBEG? What was the point of Eternals at all? Dr. Strange?

It's like they've decided that Lost should be the model for serial storytelling. An endless, ultimately pointless treadmill.

It will be hard for the new Baylan actor to fill the roles of his predecesors, and without a good one ,that whole storyline could fall apart.

It is bothersome that it feels like the last 10+ years Thrawn and Ezra were away, they were almost frozen in time. Okay, Thrawn got some damaged/jury-rigged repairs, but it just seems to me if Thrawn was "really" stuck in a different galaxy with a broken Star Destroyer, he'd have carved out at least a tiny empire or something. We go to a different galaxy and we see only one planet, and hear absolutely nothing about the surroundings. If they had flown any further, I guess they would have flown directly into the matte painting of stars that make out the whole galaxy.

Well, Quantumania almost was a story about Ant-Man reconnecting with his daughter. The trailer had that line that Kang could give him back the time he had lost, and man, that could have been neat.

Eternals was basically a family dispute centered around a political disagreement, which was resolved by preferring to keep the family together rather than kill each other trying to win. But there were some sloppy side elements that distracted from that.

Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness really didn't give Strange a character arc, true.

And that's the thing that makes Andor so great: it's deeply rooted in how all the events affect Cassian, radicalize him, and turn him into a rebel.

Maybe they can get Liev Schreiber for Baylan2.

My fear is that they go with tried-and-true Star Wars methods, putting the character into a Sithy armoured suit with an appropriate-sounding voice actor, and then doing CGI necromancy for the few times he removes his helmet.

You said this better than I did. Way too much inside baseball agreed.

His Star Destroyer a lot of the engines don't work and who knows about the hyperactive.
