Looks good so far Knowledge Checks. A few suggestions, if I may:
1) Endurance and Diehard are rather weak choices for a campaign with this level of challenge. You might want to consider the following instead: Combat Expertise + Improved Trip, Cleave + Improved Sunder/Improved Bull Rush/Improved Overrun/Flay/Intimidating Strike, Improved Bull Rush + Cometary Collision, Combat Reflexes + Exotic Weapon Proficiency (spiked chain). Steadfast Determination is nice for a warrior archetype, but they really don't need a lot of help in the Will save area as they are usually raging and getting bonuses to Will saves from that.
2) Armor Specialization (Hide) should be replaced with Armor Specialization (breastplate) or Armor Specialization (mithril full plate). There is no mechanical benefit for any character aside from a druid to wear hide armor.
Just suggestions, but they will help you survive.
As for roleplaying, there are barbarian tribes in the Bright Desert. You don't necessarily have to be a member of one of them. You could be someone from a civilized area who chose to live with them and learn their ways. You could also be someone who lives on the fringes of the city of Greyhawk. There is a lot of wilderness nearby despite it being a relatively civilized area. Barbarians don't learn their skills in cities. If you are looking to play a character who grew up in a hard life on the streets, that would be more like a rogue.
