Albany Gameday VI - Sept. 9th - Thanks for coming

I'd almost be interested in driving up to Albany for that day, but unfortunately I have a whole lot of things for Sept 10, (so many in fact I've had to dssapoint a number of people for things I could not do that day) so I simply don't have the time to drive the distance.

I was wondering about what level that Arcana Evolved game was going to be played at?

I tossed the DM an email. If he doesn't post here I'll let you know when I know.

Hmm, that afternoon slot 4 game sounds interesting. I think I may have to switch.

guedo79, maybe we should try Christmas, I bet he wouldn't have to work then.

Keep it up, Captain Dead inside. You'll end up playing My Little Pony rpg at a table all by yourself.

We will be starting at the XP equivelent to level 7 + 500. If you are familiar with the system then the following restrictions will make sense:

1.) No evolved levels.
2.) Gold will be according to the DMG chart for a 7th level character, with a restriction that no one item be more than 50% of your total wealth. A crafted item will only have its raw material fee counted in this way. Note that you only have 500 XP beyond 7 - I will let you craft down to 6.
3.) My pricing for ceremonial feats is base + 50gp per participant as listed in the AE.

If you are familiar with the system, just PM me with your level breakdown and race. If you have a pre-built, you also don't need to be there at 10:00 on the dot, as the first hour or so will be character creation -- however helping out your fellow party mates would be appreciated. Base stats are a 30 point buy per DMG rules. Any other questions please ask!

Well, we don't have any solid D&D games yet. Those are always popular. X-crawl sound interstesting too.

My game is pretty close to D&D. Just have to get used to the new (better?) magic system and the new setting.

You're right, RE. It's OGL so Monte Cook took what he wanted of the 3.X system and added a few bells and whistles that he liked. I haven't had a chance to play it yet but it looks interesting.

I also know we have a hand full of people that llike to play D&D over anything else. So I like to see at least one 'normal' D&D game. By no way was that a slight against The Monte Cook and any of his ogl games.

Yeah, NY is far too large. The majority of the people who end up making it are somewhere near the capital district, to the east, or to the west. By the looks of it, Queenie's gameday in Long island shows the number of gamers that don't normally think about traveling up here.

Yes, I'm very familair with Arcana Evolved as I am currently running my own AE game. ;) (Although not in the DT but my own campaign realm). Ahh... I still can't decided though. I'd love to play the AE game, but not sure I want to commit the two slots as I'd also like to play some of the other games...
I'll make make up my mind soon though.

Edit: About the d20 Star Wars game AO. Some information that might help better decide what game(s) I'd like to play: I was wondering if there are such things as Sith Wookies. And if so, are they playable?

Woas - send me an email (sjk0744 AT gmail DOT com) or stop by and GameDay even if you don't play. I am hoping to join or run an AE game and I would like some more information about your game, including if you are looking for players at this time. Thanks!
