Albany Gameday XI - April 18th

so I've reached a final decision on my schedule for the day. I'm going to come for the meeting and then go to my cosplay meeting at 3pm. this means I'm bringing my friend (Alexandra) to the 4E game, if there's still room.

Well, both Dire Wolf and The Fish not being able to make it.

Since it is the Easter/Passover season, I'm offering to run Blasphemy: The Race for the Cross board game in the afternoon.

Blasphemy® is a board game of fun, action, and adventure in the Holy Land for 2 to 4 players who can read. Playing time is 90 to 120 minutes.

In Blasphemy® you take part in the fate of a would-be Messiah. Your aim is to convince your compatriots that your Jesus, and your Jesus alone, is the genuine article.

To accomplish this, your Jesus must cut as impressive a figure as possible. He must give stirring sermons, perform miracles, attract devoted followers, and generally carry on in a Messiah-like fashion. Your Jesus must make every effort to discredit his rivals, and in the end, he must get himself killed. Yes, alas, the price of fame was dear in those days. It was clearly written that the Messiah would come to a sticky end. Accordingly, you win the game if you're the first player to get your Jesus nailed up.

Blasphemy® is the race to the cross!

Blasphemy would allow for 3 players besides me. Alternatively, I could run Talisman, which allows for up to 5 players besides me.

Dropping like flies around here!

I've got i 4e game i could run, i was setting it up as an intro game before starting a real on going game, so i have pre-gens and everything set and ready to go.

Race for the
Jade Chalice
You and your comrades must delve into the ruins
beneath Talon Pass in search of a fabled jade
chalice. Not only is the chalice still guarded, but
you aren’t the only ones after it!

I've made my own pre-gens and tried to use newer rules stuff, like summoning spells for the wizard. There's an animal companion ranger, and some races and classes from PHB2.

You want to jump in to replace the Og game in the afternoon?

Sure! May as well, sence a lot of players got dissplaced i don't mind running for some of them. I prefer to max out at 5 players, but i do have 7 pre gens if nessasary to run for a extra large group.

Okay, I think we're back on track. I'm putting the Og people into the 4e game for now, just so they have seats if they want it.

The morning D&D slot is now full.

Yeah, no problem there. I had set this up specifically because the group i'm gonna be running my regular game for are all noobs to 4e and i wanted to give them a trial run before starting the regular game.
