Alias 4/6/05 - Spoilers!

reveal

Adventurer
Wow! The first episode of the season to actually pique my interest. Not real big into the the "Vaughn goes rogue" possibility, but I'm definitely interested in what happened to his father, what Sloan and Jack are up to and what this all has to do with Irina. And Jack going into the reactor was an awesome way to make us realize he's not pure evil (even though he is a bastard. ;))

BTW, if you didn't know, the actress who played Irina has signed on to come back later this season. So we'll definitely be seeing her again. :)

My wife and I had to listen to this several times, but it wasn't Irena but Elayna that they were talking about. As far as we know, Irena is dead, killed by Jack. And, yes, it does appear that Isabella will be back for more!

Have a good one! Take care!

I just found this on SyFy Portal:

A casting call has been circulating for months for Yelena Derevko, the final Derevko sister...

:D

Incredilbe...just incredible. Never thought to hear that from Sydney's dad.

Actually, it has been confirmed that Lena Olin will reprise her role as Irena Derevko on the season finale of Alias. Could be a flashback scene, but she'll definitely be there!

Now, all they have to do is mix in more Rambaldi and we got the makings...

But seriously, and this may have been obvious to the rest of you, I think Jack accepted Sloan's "job offer" at the end of Season 2 and we are now starting to see signs of what that was all about. If so, the season just got 10x more interesting for me. That finale has been bugging me for some time now.

Ugh

Well, unless they pull out some special "magic" Jack is dead. I consider him to be one of the best characters (and actors) on the show. I mean, he is actually an agent that supresses his emotions like you'd expect.

I still think the writing this year is just terrible. Generally not impressed. Vaughn could die, as far as I am concerned, and not really alter the show. I am also getting a bit sick of Garner's over-acting. But I am sick and cranky right now, maybe I'll like it more when I feel better ;).

Hmmm... I've forgotten about what that "job offer" is... can you shed any light on that? I guess I should check out my Season 2 DVDs. Sounds interesting.

Not likely, since I agree with you. ;)

Aside:
Is it just me, or have they screwed up the timeline/date? There is the "lost 2 years", but then I thought I saw this season that they were still in 2005... WTF?

That's the thing, we don't know anything except that Sloan offered Jack something right before Syd "died."

I hadn't noticed that. I'm not sure they've ever really established a current date for the series but I could be wrong. It's not something I've really paid attention to.
