Alien: The Director's Cut- Anyone else psyched for this?

I was able to see it in the theatre of few years back, so seing it in the theatre isn't a big draw. I'm more curious on how the director's cut is different.

I'm more interested in the Alien vs Predator trailer thats going to be shown before Alien: Director's Cut. I've seen the original enough times and though its my favorite sci-fi franchise, a bit of remastering and a couple incidental deleted scenes isn't enough to suck me in.

9/22/03 - Not surprisingly, Fox has decided to use the release next month of Alien: Director's Cut as their opportunity to unveil the first teaser trailer for this movie, directly to the target (and core) audience. There are rumors that a special sequence is being filmed just for this teaser, which suggests that what we see on October 31st might not end up in the eventual movie.

I've been looking forward to this for months.

Actually, I have never seen the movie all the way through. I've seen different parts at various times but never all at once. I've seen the chest-bursting scene of course but not the ending. So this should be a real treat for me. :D

I have to say that I'm quite eager to see it. Fact is, I have my wife taking our 8 year old out trick or treating and then we're going to hit the late show for it.

I am old. I am very old. =) I saw it in the theater at a ripe old age of 10 when it first came out. Scared the living tar out of me.

It then rapidly became one of my all time favorite movies, and with the chance to see it on the big screen, again, as well as the deleted scenes, that'll be really worth it.

And, rumor has it, and I can't remember where I read this, but if it does well, we will see Aliens the directors cut, hopefully in the spring.

You're not that old. I was 20 when it came out. Sacred the tar out of me too, though...of course there was Sigourney Weaver, too ...
