All About the Dagger

Daggers are cooler than hand axes and light hammers because you can take one into the king's banquet as a dinner tool when all other weapons are prohibited.

All of my char's have at least one dagger. I see it as a necessity of life on the range. They're used for eating, skinning, fighting, carving, everything. Sometimes they are there just because they look kewl. My current fighter-type has a brace of them on his belt, gifts from a Bedouin style tribe with nifty sheaths and all. Never has drawn blood with them, but who cares?

I like the daggerspells classes.

In fact, in a PbP where I play two characters, a gnome rogue/druid 1/1 and a human sorcerer 2, I'm tempted to multi the human into rogue a bit, so that the pair could become a daggerspell shaper and a daggerspell mage. :)

First step: weapon focus: dagger. There are so many encounters (Shackled City adventure path!) that the spell supply gets depleted very quick, and when it comes to hitting stuff, they suffer from their horrible BABs. Then TWF at level 6. Because of favored class rules, the gnome would go Rogue 5/Druid 5 before entering the PrC, but for the wizard, I'm thinking about a sorcerer 5/rogue 2/daggerspell mage 3/arcane trickster 10... :)
