Yeah, that's the most likely scenario.

But if it is Michael, nuTSR's former PR person, whose job is supposed to be communicating, he's pretty bad at it as Chad. Not that he was great as Michael. Chad, though, seems to think over-communicating about all the stuff he could show, but only actually showing a fraction of it, is a convincing indictment. Not to mention grammar and spelling fails. I mean, I know it's Twitter, but c'mon.
Maybe he was drunk and angry. And when he sobered up, he deleted his account.

What's with these guys' insistence with using someone's middle name? Every time, it's like a dog whistle to dox someone, which is something they literally just got done ranting about how this Chad person is doxing Justin by this account. I just don't get the blatant hypocrisy.
I imagine they’d try to justify their blatant hypocrisy with eye-for-an-eye logic. You know, “I don’t condone this kind of behavior, but if they’re going to do it to us, we’re going to respond in kind” sort of nonsense.

All of it is theory, but I'm guessing that Hovermale was invited to come to Wisconsin and was offered a place to live in exchange for being the social media rep. He came out, made almost no money, and eventually threw in the towel when it was clear he was wasting his time attaching his wagon to someone like Lanasa (who thrives on drama and conflict instead of on financial success) and everything probably came out in a drunken fury one night after he finally exploded.

Faolyn was the first to call this theory out, so I'll credit her. It would explain the comment that was made by RevengeChad that Lanasa is a "master manipulator" (something which makes NO sense considering how blatantly unsuccessful Lanasa is at TTRPG-empire building) because if you spent months trying to reinvent your life for a guy who adamantly refused to give you a salary or compensation of any type, you'd probably feel like he manipulated you even if everyone else in gaming thinks Justin Lanasa is completely inept at running any mind games.

I would also point out that nowhere (at least not in the quoted post) does Horatio Jones refute Chad/Michael/Logan/Whoever's claims.

But also, this "Horatio Jones" isn't really breaking any news - he's making an unsupported assertion. Internet rumors are not news.

I stumbled across this The Lighthouse mashup while looking for the "Why'd ye spill your beans moment" and figured it might as well go here anyway:
