alt. Dragon Disciple PrC?

No, I dont think that would be better, not with the stat increases, natural armor, and other things, that would make it overpowered, and thats not what Im looking for. Giving it a spell casting progression, and having any spells that the Sorcerer might already have count agaisnt the spells they get as a Dragon Disciple would work, and would give a bit better reason for having the Epic Dragon disciple, so that you could choose higher level spells, though they would still be limited far more than what a normal sorcerer would have.

Thanks Buddha :)
Things just kept coming up.

I just wanted to keep the thread from disappearing is all.....

So we agree they should have their own spell progression ...
What about Breath Weapon, 1/3full power at 3rd level, and 2/3full power at 7th level, that seems reasonable to me.

How do you propose on doing that since we're using my template as a base?

I have a question about the Skills listing, why do they have Escape Artist, as a class skill?

Not sure.. I don't see why they should have it.

Have we decided what to do about the Hit Die size increases?

I've attached what I've done so far. The pattern that I chose, for the spells per day table, yielded 5 spells per day for Level 0 (Cantrips) which is acceptable to me.

Buddha, recheck your attachment, I get a corrupted file when I download it.

Hit die increases ... Im thinking there should only be two, one at 5th level(d6) and one at Dragon Apotheisis(d8). That work?

The attachment worked fine for my.

THe gold dragon looked good. Are the prerequites the same as the standard Dragon Disciple prestige class? And the magic is as a Sorcerer? Do they automatically know all those spells?

Buddha, I think that was my program, Im using Wordpad unfortunately.

Buddha, your right about the Breath weapon, we did change that to your Templates style ... how does gaining 1d(whatever type) at first level, then it ups to 2d(whatever type) at 5th, and 3d(whatever type) at Dragon Apotheisis sound?

Not too shabby but there is a potential problem. A full half-dragon has a much stronger breath weapon than your progression allows for. Apotheosis is supposed to bestow the remaining template bonuses to the character which includes full breath weapon strength. I'd like to suggest 2d(whatever) at 1st, 4d(whatever) at 5th, Full Strength (Apotheosis/10th).

Buddha, yeah, that works better. I wasnt thinking or something.

Hmm, what else is there, other than making the spell progression and everything for the individual Base types ...
