alt. Dragon Disciple PrC?

I'd like to slide the Hit Die increases back to 3rd & 8th levels, instead of 5th & 10th. Makes the second increase a little more worth including. The Additional Special Qualities collumn of the Special Qualities table should be included in Apotheosis.

Each type, or group of types of Dragon Disciple, possibly based on their immunity needs a spell list.

here are the Half-oriental Dragons for you.

All Oriental Half-Dragons are of the same size as the base creature and all gain the hit die improvement.

Speeds: Only the Half-Li Lung Dragon can have wings. Half-Chaing Lung and Half-Lung Wang swim twice as fast as their base
speed. Half-Li Lung can burrow at 2/3 of their base speed. Half-Lung Wang lose 10 off their base speed.

Half Chiang Lung
Immunity to Water, No breath Weapon. Special Ability: Water Breathing or Remove Curse 1/day.
+7 Natural AC
+6 Str, +4 Con, +4 Int, +6 Wis, +6 Cha
ECL: 4.4 or +4
A possible breath weapon (if wanted, sine Chiang Lung do not have one would be a Geyser breath similar to what the decanter of endless water can do) (If so add +1 Ecl)

Half Li Lung
Immunity to Earth, No Breath Weapon. Special Ability: Roar or Stone Shape 1/day. (Roar causes deafness for up the the character's con mod in rounds 1/day).
+6 Natural AC
+8 Str, +4 Con, +2 Wis, +2 Cha
ECL: 4.3 or 4
You may wish to make Roar a Breath Weapon.. not sure

Half Lung Wang
Immunity to Fire, Steam (Fire) Breath Weapon (d10s). Special Ability: Scaly Command 1/day or Water Breathing.
+7 Natural AC
+10 Str, +4 Con, +2 Int, +2 Wis, +2 Cha
ECL: 5.9 or 6
Pretty Much like a standard half dragon.

Half Pan Lung
No Immunity or Breath Weapon. Special Ability: Water Breathing, Scaly Command 1/day or Water Fire (1-3 d6)
+6 natural AC
+6 Str, +4 Con, +2 Int, Wis, Cha
ECL: 3.8 or 4
One of the weakest so far. Water Fire is a special abilty 2 of the Oriental Dragons possess. When in water they can surround themselves with Watery Fire that deals damage when hit. (1d6/5 levels max 3d6 for Pan Lung)

Half Shen Lung
Immunity to Lightning and Poison. Fire Vulnerability. No Breath Weapon. Special Ability: Water Breathing or Scaly Command 1/day , or Vermin Barrier 1/day(protection from Vermin lower in HD than the half dragon, negated if he attacks them), or Watery Fire (2-4 d6)
+7 natural AC
+6 Str, +2 Dex, +4 Con, +2 Int, +4 Wis, +4 Cha
ECL: 4.9 or 5
Pretty Strong. This ones Watery Fire starts at 2d6 and goes up like the Pan Lung

Half T'ien Lung
Immunity to Fire, Fire Breath Weapon (d10s). Special Ability: Water Breathing or Pyrotechnics 1/day.
+8 Natural AC
+10 Str, +4 Con, +4 Int, +6 Wis, +6 Cha
ECL: 5.8 or 6

Half Tun Mi Lung
Immune to Water and Air, no Breath Weapon. Special Ability: Water Breathing or Lightning Bolt 1/day.
+7 Natural AC
+8 Str, +4 Con, +2 Int, +4 Wis, +4 Cha
ECL: 4.9 or 5

I was thinking on basing the spells avalible on the type of breath weapon you have. With a few others that are ones the all the other types, or most of the other types have access too.
 

Grouping by breath weapon type is ok with me.

Force: Amethyst, Force

Fire: Brass, Gold, Lung Wang, Red, T'ien Lung

Acid/Corrosive: Black, Brown, Copper, Deep, Green

Electricity: Blue, Bronze, Song

Light: Crystal, Prismatic

Sonic: Emerald, Sapphire

Draining/Dehydration: Fang, Shadow, Topaz

Cold: Silver, White

Other: Chiang Lung, Li Lung, Pan Lung, Shen Lung, Tun Mi Lung

What all types need spell lists, all but the Fire-type Dragons? Ill work out the spell lists for them.
I think that the 0-level spells should all look the same, or very similar, because there isnt much variety for them.

Il put up lists for the other types that are needed, probably tomorrow, as Im running low on time on the net.

They should be able to learn them in a manner similar to wizards, but not require a spellbook. I have done the Fire-type dragon's spell list already, but if you have any suggestions for different, or more, spells I would be willing to hear them. Yeah, the 0-Level spells should be similar to each other but not identical. Try to restrict your spell selections to the PHB and T&B.
 


Pax's idea of a Draconic Bloodline feat as a prerequest would be a good idea, instead of the ability to cast spells without memorizing.
It would also make sense with the redone way of how they get the spells.

This list is just for the Electric Sub-type, more to come on the others:
0-Level - Resistance, Daze, Light, Mage Hand, Arcane Mark, Read Magic.
1-Level - Endure Elements, Mage Armor, Lesser Electric Orb*, Magic Missle, Change Self, Shocking Grasp
2-Level - Resist Elements, See Invisibility, Filter*, Detect Thoughts, Fog Cloud, Alter Self
3-Level - Protection from Elements, Lightening Bolt, Wind Walk, Arcane Sight*, Haste, Keen Edge
4-Level - Mass Resist Elements*, Electric Orb*, Polymorph Self, Solid Fog, Detect Scrying, Scrying
* Spells in Tome & Blood

The last two Detect Scrying, and Scrying I chose to use only beacuse I couldnt think of any others to use.
