Miles apart in terms of gameplay are AIME ( which didn't work for me) and TOR, which mirrors the books very well indeed.I bought / read the AIME books a few years back but had hard time selling it to my players. Great books though.
As tradition dictates (with it being so close to the end of the year and all) what are the Top 10
Bring it. Chances are I've heard of many of them, but looking for something new was the point of asking.Heh. If you ask 10 gamers what their top 10 games are, you'll end up wit a list of 150 games.
I've been running it for a couple months now for a group who had previously played 5E.Checking out some reviews on Warhammer. I'd forgotten about it! Curious about level of complexity and so on... we talking 5E level, or PF2 level?
Ugh ok that's a pass for me.I've been running it for a couple months now for a group who had previously played 5E.
My honest appraisal: it's PF2 levels of complexity (if not more so). The core resolution mechanic is pretty simple, but there are many, many, many special cases; numerous conditions; chart-dependency; Toughness/Armor as damage reduction; comparison degrees of success with opposed checks. I honestly couldn't run it without Foundry's automation.
