not reading between the lines. Interpreting things into something you read that´s just no there.

Here's a quick lesson in User Experience / Interface design that also applies to writing manuals of any sort. "Intuitive," is relative to prior user experience and internal consistency within your interface, documentation, or system.

Ignoring experience and pattern recognition while rejecting inferential logic isn't good reading comprehension - it is pedantic to the point of being obtuse.

Seriously, they could fire Mearls and shelf the whole project tomorrow. It is possible, but highly unlikely. Everything is "speculation" if all it takes is a sliver of uncertainty. Instead we're dealing in the currency of more rationally grounded speculation and less rationally grounded speculation.

And the fighter might pretty fast be better with a mundane crossbow, than you are with a magic missile... especially if he is a slayer...

Yes, that's not a bug - it's a feature. If Wizards have parity on at-will attacks with Fighters AND drastically better access to Limited Damage Expression AND they have Utility Magic on top of that we're just back to Linear Fighter / Quadratic Wizard, only worse than the original model.
