[AMBIENT] Everyone Else review 5/5

A buyer (Stan Myrick) just posted a new review for Everyone Else, our book of Common NPCs written by Richard Ruthman & Michael Thibault.

You can read it here:

http://www.rpgnow.com/product_reviews_info.php?products_id=324&reviews_id=348&

Everyone Else is available for $6.oo from www.RPGnow.com

There is also a quick and good 4/5 review from Jesse Dean at RPGnow that points out a few mistakes we made in the final run of the book (being consistent can be bad when it's a mistake... this one points out a VERY consistent mistake throughout the book regarding the stats on the club).

AND you can also read Krug's review of Everyone Else (not a 5 out of 5, mind you :D) right here on ENworld!

Edit: Sorry Krug, Thanks Jesse

Don't worry Krug, your review is just as valid as any, and is an honest and informative one - it makes valid points, and describes the product exactly as it is - a time-saving tool for DMs who involve "common" NPCs in their games. The truth of the matter is that these sorts of NPCs don't see any play in "Epic" campaigns (and I don't mean level 21+, but games that work around epic plotlines and so on) where the adventure is what it is all about, but it will be *immensely* useful for low-level play and low-magic campaigns or games with a lot of personal interaction and city play.

The fact of the matter is, however, that a 3/5 review just doesn't make for good ad-copy.

Yeah, its on rpgnow.com
I haven't had the time to do a full review and you beat me to it so I am not going to bother writing out an extended sized one at this point.

Though I thought its utility was a little greater than you did, I still thought it had a few problems. Mainly the frequency of triple damage criting clubs and the completely average stats.

I still think it will be really useful though so I gave it a 4/5
:)

Yea looks like we had similar issues. Hope we'll see a full review from ya sometime soon. :)

I'm sorry, Jesse. My bad. I hadn't realised you were one of the locals when I read the review. My name-to-nick recognition can be a bit poor at times.

Hehe

Its all cool.
I don't think that many people around here remember me anymore anyway. ;)

By the way, is the Librum ex Veritas: Domains of Divinity still scheduled for November 1st?
