An Age of Worms Idea

First Post
I have the Whispering Cairn, and it looks incredible. I have also read most of the relevant posts on Paizo boards. I am really excited about this campaign, and getting more so, the more I read.

I had an idea, but do not have the time, or computer knowledge to accomplish it. I was wondering what others thought.

How about a webpage, where potential players could go to, to learn some background about Diamond Lake. I am sure it would help them in deciding what type of character to play. Maybe a short blurb on the NPC's, and major locations.

I am still wrangling with the whole idea of setting it in GH or FR...My players like FR, but I have the original Greyhawk maps, which would be really cool to break out. I found a really awesome map of Greyhawk city...We just really are not super familiar with all the background stuff for Greyhawk. Are there any sourcebooks that could help me get a light grasp on the area that AoW will be set in? The reason I am tossing about FR, is that I already preordered Waterdeep. But, as a side game, I am running Maure Castle, so when they go to Greyhawk city, they could Roleplay with themselves

I'm going Greyhawk.

The last two campaigns, well, three actually, five if I count the ones I ran, were all in the Forgotten Realms, while the previous ones were in the Scarred Lands.

Nope, going to be Greyhawk.

The problem you may run into is that you would be reproducing a good chunk of (at least) two articles in the magazine.... which is copyrighted. I'm not an expert in Intellectual Property, but this sounds like a copyright infringement to me.

UNLESS you get Paizo's OK to do so.

Erik Mona, any comments?

My hope was that they might do it...I love the character backgrounds that Eric did, but it was done with alot of knowledge of the city....I guess my other option is to tell them to give me, name, race and class, and do all the background myself....but, like I said, it would be cool if there was someplace they could go to get a feel for the town, before we start...
