An easy apocalypse....

Then just wish for a big block of stone. You could probably get several tons of stone for 15,000 gp. Drop that on the target from a mile or so up. And cast a wall of force underneath them first, so that they absorb the entire force of the block landing on them (they'd probably get pushed into the ground otherwise).

If its dropped froma mile or so up, they can easily move out of the way long before it hits the ground...

........Which is what hold person and hold monstor are for.....

And i prefer 2e rules: they have a better balance, imho. That and the more open ness of wish......

I prefer to be underpowered, and roleplaying, to being able to kill an andamante dragon at will.........

get all notes and books into a crate, hoist it up on a tree limb, activate a blow torch and yell to the DM "I'm going to destroy the campaign world!"

Viola, one easy apocalypse. lol.

Heh, quite..............

Or you could wish your dm a player. And yourself dm. That would do it........

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the D&D Rules Cyclopedia version of Wish have the limitation that you could only cast it if you were level 35 or something?

I may very well be wrong here, by the way. I haven't read that bit for, oh, ten years now, and don't have a copy to hand.

That would, incidentally, make the spell effectively 18th level.

It would, however, justify the 'do anything but here are some ways for the DM to screw it around' rules text of the spell.
