Take a look at Shadowrun, specifically some of the stuff on shamans of rat etc, toxic shamans, and conjurers of city spirits and spirits of man. That's the standard in my mind for 'nifty' on the idea of urban spellcasters and druid type urban spellcasters.

I had a fun time with this particular Shaman of Trickster walking around in downtown Seattle with this beat up 85 datsun and a rusty garbagecan (city spirits) unerringly following him around.

If you're concerned about the various abilities Druids get, consider reading the Unearthed Arcana and check out the alt rules for Urban Rangers. Mix and match appropriately.

And, visually speaking, changing into Warforged animals that appear as Warforged is the coolest concept I've heard in a while. It might be the Beast Wars fan in me, though.

Druid/Adamantine Body

Why is Adamantine Body denied to Warforged Druids? The only difference is between whether the character is made of iron/steel or reinforced with adamantine. Metal is metal, isn't it? So shouldn't either you can't have Warforged Druids, or you can have them with Adamantine or Mithral Body? Not somewhere in between...

There are even sacred druid sites in Sharn, so it's not that unusual.

The warforged should either stick to the basic plating or take Ironwood Body (Races of Eberron). I'd choose the former.

For animal companion, I'd choose a flying one, probably an eagle or owl (if you focus on the outdoors) or a bat (if you focus on the caverns below Sharn). Other than that, a dire rat should be the most common-sighted animal companion available. Or maybe a monkey or tamarin (Sharn is located in a tropical area, with a rainforest right next to it).

One of the city councilors of Sharn is a shifter druid named Hruit, so there's a contact right there, as is the warforged Smith, cleric of Onatar.

As for visuals, the body of a warforged has not only metal, but also wood and stone. I'd add leaves and tiny branches to the wooden parts and moss all over the stony parts.

I wouldn't make so much as an urban druid, as much as a druid that finds nature even in the heart of civilization.

If I recall correctly, the original druids in Eberron were the Orc Druids who used there powers to seal demons/abberations in the depths of Kyber. So you could easily go the anti-abberation/Gate Keeper route, even in a city such as Sharn (in some cases, especially in a city like Sharn).
