I myself, I only got to meet Gary once. In passing, and really barely said 'hi' to each other at the time. I regret I didn't get to mention how he made 10 years of my life just a touch more bearable during some hard times.
We haven't published much recently, and in fact, we've moved on to different, if not better, things. Rebecca and I now work in virtual design in the world of second life.
I spent a long time today, figuring out how to say 'thank you', not only to Gary, but to all of the people who I have played, worked, and talked with in the gaming community over the years.
As it is, we decided to reduce the prices on all out items to $0.10 from now on. Honestly, this is not much of a hardship, since we never supported ourselves on RPG sales, and it never did more than support our gaming.
Anyway, enjoy what we have written to as close to free as I think is fair to RPGnow, and come visit us some time in Second Life. We'll all raise a glass to the old master of the d20, and see if we can ever get to that chest beyond the green slime...
Perhaps later I can get a site that will be willing to put our products up for free (without beating me with bandwidth charge).
