Mearls and Wyatt are both still there. I think Mike has a more senior role in D&D than he did during development as well.

Mearls, Wyatt, Baker, Perkins, Bilsland, Cordell, and then a bunch of the development team. I'm sure there are more, but these come to mind immediately.

The man who pushed for and lead all major rules updates ("errata") was laid off yesterday:
Whoops! Browser Settings Incompatible
Does anybody know if it is a punishment because of consumer backlash?
I wonder and worry about the errata process. I hope he brought in on a good path.

I also hope he has found a new opportunity, because as Matt said it seems not clear he was laid off. (Though it is possible he left because of the chance of being laid off. We'll see. Or maybe not).

If he left on his own, I'm sure it was for another position. It would be silly to quit because you thought you were going to get laid off unless you were leaving for another job. At least if you get laid off you can maybe get a severance package and unemployment. If you quit before you have another job lined up, you get nothing.

The guy worked there for FOURTEEN years. Maybe he just wanted to do something else. Most people don't stick to the same job for 5 years in this day and age. And remember, writing RPGs, even for a big company like Hasbro, is not exactly a gold brick road to high pay and unlimited career success. If you're at all ambitious to go further there comes a day when you put down your dice and go back to the real world.

Is there confirmation he was laid off? I also read that he was leaving on his own.

Yes I had him sacked after he Nerfed my Half Elf Twin Strike Daggermaster Rogue.

Kept getting confused whether editing came before or afte errata.

Too many E''s
