Angel likes hockey! Yay! Just another reason for me to love this show.
Anyone else think that there should be a Halloween show where nothing actually happens? I mean, it was established (and disproved) on Buffy that Halloween was a time when the supernatural beings took a night off. Of course, something always happened that Buffy had to deal with, despite every Halloween ep repeating the "nothing will happen" tradition.
I would like an episode where there is a mundane problem, not supernatural, that allows character interaction. I thought that this one would be like that, with the gang having to schmooze with evil beings and be all angstsy about it (which it was, I admit, but not as much as I expected). Instead they have Lorne's subconscious cause problems.
Still, despite my expectations, I enjoyed the episode, especially the hockey and the comment about UC Santa Cruz, my alma mater.
I really liked Gunn staking his territory. Ties in nicely with the whole panther thing.
