word up!

... it's like those stoopid horror films. Oh I just knocked the bad guy down ... do I: A) run like a moron so he can catch me later ... or ... B) use the fire poker I knocked him/it down with and beat the tar out of him/it?

Maybe his DM allows circumstance modifiers for "cool" moves? He's obviously already trying to get the with the whole "I'm so grim and gritty 'cause I don't shave" routine :)

Really liked this episode. Other than that I'm still waiting for someone to smack Connor all over the place.

I enjoyed the episode thoroughly.

The scene with Darla was great. I'd almost say that she was the 3rd vampire with a soul, even if it was borrowed from Connor. :) They did a nice job building up the scene and then destroying it with Cordelia's intervention.

Skip was wonderful. I'm not sure how to feel about his true nature, however. The bait and switch was kinda fun, but I liked him as a good guy. I'm bummed that he's dead, that's for sure.

I also liked how the greater storyline for each character led to this moment. I would like to learn more about how that happened.

hell, yes. :D

Wesley's devotion to his guns has been a high point - if nothing else, it illustrates why so few people use them in the Jossverse. But that "one-in-a-million" shot to Skip last night had me cheering. Wesley has always proven to be a darned good shot - it was nice to see evidence of it.

As for the rest - I had actually forgotten that Gina Torres was supposed to be on Angel. Her appearance was quite cool. But does this mean that Cordy is now dead? I know Charisma may be wanting to leavethe show now, but I hope not.

Conner - poor, deluded, "Limp-Bizkit-Nookie" Conner. I had high hopes for him at the end of the last epsiode, but he let me down BIG-TIME last night. For God's Sake, even Holtz taught him better than that! Forget Darla, who he ever really knew (excellent voice for his conscience, btw) but even Holtz would have impressed upon him about not killing an innocent!

Skip surprised me. I'm sorry to see he was in on it from the beginning, but they did a great job finishing him off.

Gunn and Fred: I'm surprised by the dialogue last night. Unlike so many relationships in this show, they seem to have genuinely broken it off, and are comfortable with it. It remains what Fred will think about Gunn's love-fest with Gwen - and I am curious to see whether anything else comes of that for that matter - but they seemed very at-peace with one another this episode, no like before.

That was one hell of an ep. These just keep that high-quality up every week. All the Connor stuff was great. He is going to pay for his actions severely, you can just see it coming. Skip, as usual, was great and I am sad to see him go even if he was really a baddie in the end. The whole crew was in on the action tonight, which was good to see.

I can't wait to see how this all plays out along with the finale of Buffy. :)

I kind of liked Skip but it goes to show you never fully trust a demon. Way to go, Wes...

I think next week's TV Guide says that Cordy is in a coma...
