My only problem is that this Circle of the Black Thorn came out of nowhere, with no real hints of it's existance this season. It would have been nice if it were subtly hinted at a little.

They pulled the same nonsense at the end of Buffy's run. Remember the crone showing up out of nowhere to say her organization has been watching the watchers for centuries, and has been observing Buffy's entire career? Seems kind of cheap IMO.

Angel's ruse of evilness made last week's light-hearted episode even more inappropriate.

Overall, I'm unsatisfied. I would like to see Hamilton get his head handed to him though. That actor must have had other roles. Anyone recognize him?
