I agree totally. Honestly, I was pretty much happy with Deathknell. That spectre was really the only rare mini that annoyed me...that and the fact I got 3 of them out of a case!!!

I think a friend of mine got only ONE out of 3 cases he bought.

I can't complain actually. The spectre and the vampire savage or whatever it was were the only duplicates that I got out of that case.

Funny story. The guy that runs the shop where I bought the case was telling me that this other guy has bought 2 cases and didn't get a Beholder, and no one else in the store that bought parts of something like 3 or 4 other cases didn't get one either. The guy that bought the 2 cases nearly bought the one I got as well, but passed on it. On my second pack, I got the Beholder. Sean (the guy that runs the shop) cracked up and said that other guy was going to be pissed when he found that out!

I was just happy to get the Beholder!

Heard that. Next to the ultimate rare huges (Gold Dragon and Red Dragon) beholder is the hardest to find rare around.

And that was really bad luck you had. Were those cases sealed? I had two cases and no duplicates within the respective cases.

Yep, a sealed case. Just bad luck.

I only got 1 ambush drake out of that case and the half of a case I've bought since. Still no griffon though.

beholder is the hardest to find rare around.

Hmm. I only bought four boosters and got one.

Of course, life is tougher if you are actually imprudent enough to buy a sealed box rather than allow yourself the luxury of performing the jiggle test on individual boosters. Got me a beholder, an aspect of Nerull, a centaur hero, and a thaskor too. Wish I could've landed an ettin, scorpion, or couatl. Of course, the skullcrushers and dire bears throw jigglers a curveball, and the 8 large uncommons in Angelfire will really hose us up.

Jiggle Test looking for weight found me two Thraskors.

A wee too heavy on that mini

I tried the Jiggle test on Archfiends. I thought I had an Aspect. Turns out I got two Driz'zts instead!
