Hmm. I only bought four boosters and got one.

Of course, life is tougher if you are actually imprudent enough to buy a sealed box rather than allow yourself the luxury of performing the jiggle test on individual boosters. Got me a beholder, an aspect of Nerull, a centaur hero, and a thaskor too. Wish I could've landed an ettin, scorpion, or couatl. Of course, the skullcrushers and dire bears throw jigglers a curveball, and the 8 large uncommons in Angelfire will really hose us up.

Hey, if you want to get rid of that beholder, I have a surplus scorpion ;)

I think this set may be the one to lure me back into D&D minis...but gods, I don't have the money for both SWM and DDM...its not fair.
Why? At least Star Wars is Star Wars... This is just cheap overpriced plastic.

...because most of the face to face games I play end up being D&D.

So? You have some artiest talent... By real miniatures and paint them. :D

And reading "cheap overpriced plastic" just makes me grin. :D

The plastic his cheap and it is overpriced so I see no real reason to smile. ;)

Suuuure, what?

The way you defended the Star Wars minis, but condemned the D&D minis as dirt cheap and overprized. All this considering that, if I'm not mistaken, SWM boosters only have 7 minis, while DDM boosters have 8.

Just they're not made of metal doesn't mean they're not real. And there are people who don't have any artist talent - or simply lack the time to assemble and paint dozens of minis.

There's never been an abundance of Star War miniatures made. Yet fantasy has had how many different manufactures? What like 10 or 20?

Sadly the only way to get some of the Star Wars mixtures is in cheap overpriced plastic.

You would, or should, have a better idea than me... but miniature count never entered my mind.

Nope just cheap. ;)
