I got to run it a couple sessions & everyone had fun. The biggest hurdle for it is the same as any pointbuy system where players need to accept that they need to hold back their inner munchkin & the gm needs a lot more say on where the line is with character advancement choices. If you have a group that can manage that it can be a lot of fun woth lots of neat character optionsSo with it being out, what do you think of it?
What are your opinions of classes, mechanics and the powers?
Balanced?
Do they work?
Thought?
Hoes doe it handle the powers in your opinion over the other 5e supers systems which tend to have spells as powers?I got to run it a couple sessions & everyone had fun. I can't think of any "5e supers systems" but have run some supers games like icons the marvel d10 thing & a Savage worlds one & it worked pretty well in comparison.Hoes doe it handle the powers in your opinion over the other 5e supers systems which tend to have spells as powers?
I have Level Up and had been meaning to run a game using it at some point soon.I can't think of any "5e supers systems" but have run some supers games like icons the marvel d10 thing & a Savage worlds one & it worked pretty well in comparison.
Think Slayers, knights & magic, overlord, fairy tale, so I'm a spider/slime, & so on more than Lodoss War, goblin Slayer, etc.
Edit: the reason we stopped was because we moved to levelup5e
