Well, I've been meaning to make a thread for a while now...so, here's mine.

I've got a Spiderman picture I need to upload sometime soon, probably do it tommorrow and I'll post it here too...I would ask for requests to give me ideas to draw things, but I don't have the eye for detail to pull things like that off just yet.
Oh, and yes, I have a manga/anime influence style. I'm guilty, I know...funny thing though, is that I HATE my style. I'm trying to slowly move to a more realistic feel, and I can almost do it, except for the face. Especially eyes and the nose. Any tips for forcing myself into a more realistic style?

Your stuff is really good!. Im afraid I dont know anything about the manga/anime style that you utilize, but I do like it. Perhaps you should ask someone at www.elfwood.com, a lot of people there use the manga style...

Thanks. I kind of avoid Elfwood. Used to have some of my older stuff up there. Had a few bad experiences with mods and other people. Not the friendliest place on Earth.
The problem with a manga style is, while it may look really good...its still too cartoony for me at least. Yeah its great for a comic or just random little doodles, but my life is going to be with art...and a much more realistic style is just something that I both want and need. Maybe the best way is to just train myself by drawing from looking at real people and not altering things to make it 'easy'...

I wouldn't really know, i've only looked at the artwork, never uploaded my own. The problem is I draw monsters, im not very good at doodling humans!...

I'm exactly the opposite. I can't do monsters and can barely do anything that isn't human or VERY close to human.
