Another cleric feat choice thread!

First Post
Okay here goes, I am trying to decide on a feat for a clr8/sacred exorcist4.
From BoED Nemesis, Exalted Turning or Divine Vigor from CW.
My current feats are scribe scroll, martial weapon prof greatsword, power attack, divine might, cleave (why o why did I take cleave!) and extra turning (class feat).
Suggestions or alternatives would be appreciated. (Please do not suggest great cleave, please dont okay)

How'd you get nemesis without a favored enemy? Does the one from SE count?

Other than that ...the turning feats from the DoTF book are fairly good. add to damamge, or turn checks, or various other things.

I think that evil outsiders and undead are listed as chosen foes. I dont recall if that is the same or not. If someone could clarify that I would appreciate it.

With Extra Turning, I suggest too to take a look at the DotF's divine feats, or the updated 3.5 versions wherever they are.

3.5 Improved Turning is also very good because it increases the most powerful undead you can turn (and not just give a bonus to the check). At least I suppose that being an exorcist includes being keen against undead as well, not only outsiders... but I may be wrong becauseI don't remember the PrCl well.

If you do indeed qualify for the nemesis feat, I would get that, but only if you'll probably have a lot of that creature type in your game. Improved critical:Greatsword doesn't sound to bad either.

After writing the original post I realised that I am wielding a undead bane greatsword that casts detect undead at will, so the nemesis feat is not quite as effective as I had originally envisaged. I had not thought of improved critical, good one. Any more?

Well undeads being (normally - not talking ghostwalk setting here ) immune to critical hits does take the whoomp out of "Improved Critical Greatsword" somewhat . If you hack at a lot of other targets though, it might be worth it.

If Scarred Land setting feats are applicable , I would advise a short glance at them. Depending upon your patrond diety you might qualify for Healer's Benediction (maximizes your cure spell's dice - easing healing duty ) or "Sacred Defender" (adds Cha bonus as a blessing AC bonus to repient for a short duration (nice for heavy melee ). Bothe from Relic and Rituals - 2 : Lost Lore" .
The classic "Divine Blow" feat from DotF got severely weakened in "Complete Warrior" but in the original version it might be a powerful choice, too.
