But only by hitting them with the RAW

The Rules Forum is always the one to look at for FAQ discussions, but I think you're not the first one to avoid it.

I really only go in there to ask complex rule questions I can't answer myself, or I cannot seem to find in the books. My last question, about pyrohydras, had a good thread going for awhile.

only go into the rules forum if you have a VERY SPECIFIC question you want answered, and you can communicate it clearly. Also, be prepared for the discussion to degenerate quickly into a series of "Well I rule it like this in my game..." followed by "You can rule it however you want, but the rule still says...."

Just ask your question, get your answer, and move on. Let the rulesy people argue amongst themselves.
