Paizo has hired another designer as noted in their news release today:

The Golem Nabs a NeoGrognard!

Paizo News said:
Paizo Publishing announced today that Stephen Radney-MacFarland is joining Paizo as a designer for the award-winning Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. Radney-MacFarland currently maintains the popular NeoGrognard blog (NeoGrognard), and formerly worked at Wizards of the Coast as a game designer for the 3.5 and 4th Editions of Dungeons & Dragons, and as an administrator for RPGA organized play for D&D.

"Stephen and I worked together at the RPGA, and he was instrumental in the administration of Living Greyhawk, the largest tabletop RPG organized play program of its era," said Paizo Publisher Erik Mona. "Stephen's strong work ethic, excellent design sensibilities, and willingness to push rules in new and exciting directions will serve Paizo well as we continue to support our growing Pathfinder Roleplaying Game product lines."

Stephen Radney-MacFarland said "I’ve always admired the dedication and talent of the Paizo team. Becoming its newest member is a personal and professional triumph. I can’t wait to start!"

I preferred to think of it as Paizo is doing better than expected with their sales and needed to bring on some more help to keep churning out excellent products.

You da man Hyrum. and Congrats to Stephen Radney-MacFarland. I enjoyed his WotC stuff back in 3.5 and I look forward to his work now with Paizo.

Thanks! Hopefully you’ll enjoy my Pathfinder work as well.

And I just want to echo what Hyrum put out there. Paizo's going gangbusters. It's good to see. Oh, that and it is a great place to work. If you are on the fence about applying for a position, you should keep that in mind.
