Greetings,

I was wondering if the spell Shadow Conjuration would work versus undead? The sorceror in the group used it to create a Fireball spell versus a wraith. I allowed it, but I was not sure if this was the wrong call. Itry to error in favor of the PCs most of the time.

I know undead traits mean they are not affecting by magics that involve the mind generally. It specifically excludes phantasms from working, but remain unsure about this spell.

Your guidance is sought oh rules gurus!

"Shadow: A shadow spell creates something that is partially real from extradimensional energy. Such illusions can have real effects. Damage dealt by a shadow illusion is real."

It isn't a mind-affecting spell either, so it works on undead as per a real fireball (well, plus the will saves etc)
