Just curious to see if anyone is crunching work for BOINC (Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing).
A year or so ago I had started an ENWorld group on the World Community Grid distributed computing project that generated a small amount of interest. At the time there were folks participating in various other distributed projects...Folding @ Home, SETI@Home Classic etc...and already had a good deal of time invested in those projects so they had little desire to switch.
Now that BOINC is becoming mature as a multi project platform (and since Seti@Home Classic is dead, WGC is moving to BOINC and a number of diverse projects are coming online) I thought I'd put out some feelers to see who is participating currently, or who would have interest in participating.
If there is enough interest shown perhaps we can start up an ENWorld BOINC team.
